8mbps and any unifi package will be 2years

well.. the promotion ended already. you're late by about 8 month 15 days.. even if you're on time, the promotion is only for new application..

i applied to upgrade to 4mbps, the contractor came and check, he said my downstream is very bad and is unable to support 4mbps

but from what i see this is what I have been getting for the pass 4 years I been using streamyx, line is stable, it seem ok good what, am i wrong?

now they are downgrading it back to 1mbps

actually they reopen the promotion back..i read it from another thread in Networks and Broadband..the promotion only applied for new and suburbs and rural area IINM

yup my area also @dungun terengganu for 2nd time. First the promo via phone during December 2014 and 2nd time promo openly by putting ad banner at my TM Point branch. I heard 2nd time really got Microsoft RT instead Natsys tablet like mine . TM get new stock on those tablet

My natsys tablet edi sent for services due touch screen problem but luckily NaDI AYU services center repair it fast within 2 weeks i got the tablet back

If I apply to upgrade from 1Mbps to 4Mbps, contract renewed for another 2 yrs?

EDIT: found my answer after going to TMPoint. Upgrading will renew contact by 1 yr, if 8 mbps 2yrs

Too bad they say system dun allow me to upgrade to 4mps, sadding...... I got SNR margin > 26 dB (but downstream attenuation a bit high la at 31)

give u a little trick from my friend. He got same problem as you when he tried to apply at TM branch (SNR bla bla bla). Then he decided to try apply via agent from forum sebalah and he managed to subscribe 4mbs with student package (deduct rm 20 from normal price if i not mistaken).

Later the TM contractor come and setup his internet. not problem at all and from router status xdl i can see the tech set his download rate 7050kbs instead normal rate 5066kbs for normal 4mbs user. He said he been using the internet without any problem whatsoever like disconnect, slow on streaming even after he change the TM stock router

so u might want to try this.
