Being an Android device, we still have the urge to feel good if the spec is better even we are not using or noticing it. I'm currently on that position. I almost plan to buy the Z1 compact early this year. But the moment to wait for the phone to officially arrive in Malaysia is very tiring. I ending up buying iOS. Just like what happened to the Z2, launched only a few months ago and now we have the Z3 already. z1 was announced at IFA 2013 (early sept 2013). and it was on sale in m'sia in early oct 2013. only 1 month gap which is quite fast. but some how sonny screw up z2's supply worldwide, not only delay for m'sia. hope they learn the lesson in z2's case and never repeat it. as for compact, sony skip z2 compact and go straight to z3 compact. so even if z3 compact is delayed, chances are we won't see z4 compact early next year and go straight to z5 compact in ifa 2015. well , these are just based on history la. we all hope the best can be done from sony |

Do remember that it is now Sony's policy that all its FLAGSHIP DEVICES ONLY WOULD HAVE A LIFE CYCLE OF 6 MONTHS before being replaced. And that is FAST.

And that is FAST. yeah... that's their policy/strategy.... what to do? we as a consumer don't really need to follow right? we just buy what suits us. to me, sony's 6 month cycle is just to provide more alternative/choices. i don't like this model, 6 months time is not that long to wait. in between, something happen to my current phone, i can always get the latest model. some will argue about the delay in updates with many models. but hey, my current z1 still getting lots of update, although some are buggy la i don't care much of their strategy. just get what suits me |

Though it's 6 months cycle, but can see the spec doesn't change much, even Z1 compare to Z3 also didn't seen any improvement (1080P screen, S800/S801) Only the ram 2GB vs 3GB

Replacement cycle for Xperia compact is 1yr, not 6mths like the flagship.

Clove UK has started to offer this magnificent little beast for only GBP 349, that's just over RM 1800! crazy cheap
 they ship worldwide as well, so for those of you z3c fan go buy fast2 and post your own review here i wanna get one as well, but i already own a z1c (sigh..) |

Whao good to see the physical design got improved..
1.less bezels bigger screen 2.plastic body(ppl call this bad but personally i prefer plastic.i dropped my z1c on tar road and one ugly gash/dent on it even with casing on that angle my phone hit the ground..dam ssuey.) 3.improved design on the power button.my power button ring starting to rust adi not even half year of usage. 4.changed the speaker to front facing. 5.position of led flashed revised..nomore flashbleed issue. 6.bigger camera button..its so hard to press my cam button  Software wise it shld be good coz im not seeing any major bugs after 4.4.4 other then camera sting hangs every now and then..a restart make all chronic bugs go away...  |

The retail price RM1899 may ruin the overall sales of this Sony Z3 Compact, it should just stay at RM1699....

FYI. I found Z3c at Lowyat. Small shop 2nd floor just in front of the escalator. They have orange colour on display. Bad luck as I'm looking for black but the supposedly free black case in not in stock. And they won't let me have other color casing.

i just got report from staffs from Sony Center G floor in lowyat. the staffs there told me one of the sales representative is a great liar; he is willing to lie anyone in order to get sales. type of funny cases told and my clarification :
International warranty - I, staff from Sony Malaysia (and Sony Center) never sell any Sony phones that have international warranty. if you got a different answer, it is a lie. Waterproof Xperia E1 - 1st time I heard about it. Xperia E1 doesnt have IP rating but if someone said it has, i would welcome him/her to dunk it into water and see if it stays alive. if it dies, please blame the representative that represented you. Made in Japan (WTF?) - the brand is Japan, product is made in China but it is quality assured. think about it, your iPhone and Samsung, its manufactured in China as well right? i rarely heard phones are made in Japan. |

Try Walkman today..now z3c is dual speaker stereo sound.(top and bottom). Turn vol max, speaker still can tahan. Lol. Sound improve a lot fr z1c

Last weekend I handled all four colours of the Z3 Compact at a Sony Xperia promo booth between AEON and Uniqlo in 1U...I also handled a copper Z3...tat colour is super-cool...wish it was available for the Z3 Compact

After using this phone for about a week, i think this phone still buggy and a bit laggy. Not as smooth as Z2. The camera performance also still not consistence. The Superior Auto quality not as good as Z2. You need to play around between SA & manual. Hope Sony will come with software update.

Just back from molesting the z3 compact model in Sunway pyramid. Gotta say upon close inspection I hate the plastic sides that they "upgraded" in this model, feels quite tacky. But on a positive note, screen is definitely damn smooth and I'm really surprised at how light it is
Hopefully this will make me wait it out until Sony changes the plastic sides at the next release |

I got the z3c yesterday and have been playing with it today. Here is a short review.
Really smooth ui. Everything runs without any lag and launches quickly. The sound from the dual front speakers are loud but a bit muffled. They also cause the phone to vibtrate slightly. Love the screen. It's bright and sharp. I came from the gs4 and can only notice the lower resolution of the z3c up close, like a couple of inches from my eyes. The battery life is great! Took it off the charger at 6am this morning and after 14hrs 32mins (2hrs and 52mins screen on time), it's still at 51%! Loving the phone so far, especially being able to comfortably use it one handed. It is a bit slippery though, so I might get a case. |

jz got my z3c jz nw ori set black very light compared to z1 compact n thinner, very nice to hold previously my phone was z1 compact, n its nt much diff than z1c oso, except for the bigger screen, lighter n thinner body, smoothness n camera is all same as z1c the battery was disappointing when i use it straight out of the box, even worst than z1c, but i think the battery haven 'warm up' yet, i will review again after a few charges, hope it live up to its '2 days battery life' claim |

I've got myself the orange Z3C at the sony roadshow last Friday. Gott he World Cup leftover gifts, but they ran out of the sp and cover. need to get it from them later.
The staffs were friendly though the show looks a bit deserted.On the phone itself, so far I'm satisfied. Big improvement over my previous Experia SP. Size is smaller, but the screen size is similar. I installed battery life app from cydia to check my battery health, my battery still have around 80% capacity. 20% increase from my usage will still not last a day on the iphone and never was. Its not fair to compare the Iphone 5 with the latest Z3C especially in terms of perfomance and battery life. |

got a white z3c from raymondtong94, great deal and everything worked out.
went to 1u after and they gave the fifa goodies, string bag and ball when i signed up the ps4 contest. all in all happy with the phone, but seems my hands are slightly too big for it cause i get slight cramps using the phone single handed. yesterday after 12hrs+- left with 20% battery with ~4.5hrs SoT. this morning 1/2 hour 100 to 95% cause google+ was running rogue. This is a very good phone. A friend of mine can vouch for its outstanding battery life even when actively using it on LTE. Sadly doesn't come with dual sim option, if not I would have bought it immediately ...

Does Z3C got some sort of screen shatterproof sheet like previos old Xperia Z series? Or it just gorilla glass 3 on the front? Because if gorrila glass 3 on the front, then i no need to get any screen protector. Because previous Xperia Z line they got some sort of shatterproof sheet stick on the screen and that one scratch easily.
