I can't remember where I read it from, or whether it applies to this type of battery. But something to do with the "battery memory", or how much it thinks it can store a charge. The battery memory is affected by multiple charges at different battery life, so a way to reset the battery memory is to discharge it to less than 10% and recharge it to full.

It's one of the steps mentioned here.

if you are willing to take the risk. rolleyes.gif
i have watched videos on youtube that Z, Z1 and Z Ultra gone undersea. make sure you rinse it after going underwater and clean the flaps.

That's because Sony errs on the extreme side of caution. They say maximum 30 minutes or 1 hour, or at certain depth. But some people already claim how their phone survive for few days or months underwater. I thought one poster also said he leaves his phone overnight in water. biggrin.gif

Just make sure you rinse it properly if kena seawater.

i dont know how much is the cost to deliver all the way to malaysia but i think it should be worth it...

apparently the guys at xda-forum has managed to get the people at evolutive labs to make the rhino shield crash guard bumper for the xperia z3 compact!

evolutive labs did one for iphone previously and it got so many backers/pledgers for it...hopefully we can do the same for this one..so come and join in the fun peeps! they need to get 1400 pre-orders before they can start production of this wonderful thing :-D

I just watched the video on the link. it seems the unique feature is the extra damage absorbence.

I'm not entirely convinced though that it's *that* unique. And the bumper does seem a bit thick.

Anyone has used this product on other phones and what is your opinion about it?

my sony headphones kena curi sad.gif  only been using it for <3 months cry.gif

i hv z1c & z3c, i used to listen to music on my z1c with MDR-XB 50AP headphones coz all my songs are in there. so now with my headphone's gone, should i buy back mdr-xb50ap or should i get the digital noise cancelling that's paired to z3c? which one's better?

Looking the XB50, it seems to be an extra bass earphone.

I have the noise-cancelling earphone, and just like to let you know that it's also quite bassy. Whether it's as bassy as Xb50 I can't say, since I don't have the latter. The plus side is the noise-cancelling ones can also be used for other handphones and it sounds quite decent, just no noise-cancelling feature.

is it really noticeable, the noise-cancelling function? i've never tested it before so i didn't know.. hmm.gif

I'm not sure to what extent I'd classify the NC ability, but it does work quite a bit in blocking noise, especially conversation from people around you. There are lots of reviews out there that praises the NC ability with Xperia phone.

i get it from ebay, around RM150 ship from hongkong. no retail packaging thou, but its legit original item. The NC works but i often heard some hissing noise, not sure it's just my unit only. Another thing is this bud doesn't love to stuck in my ear canal, a slight pull on the wire or some face expression like smiling will loose the seal in my ear.  shakehead.gif

Are you getting the best fit with the ear buds? Try with bigger/smaller earbuds, and don't worry to use different size earbuds on your left/right ear.
