Note 4 will come with exynos 5433 and snapdragon 805. Any info regarding which version to launch here?

There is a poll in xda regarding which version they like in note 4. the poll result is 50:50 on this matter up to now.

Previous samsung phone is easier to like the snapdragon more than the exynos due to support in xda and AOSP/cynogenmod. Snadragon also has better performance in he synthetic benchmark.

According to the xda post above, there is evident in the benchmark information that suggest the exynos is the 64bit cpu. Android L is fully support the 64bit in the ART. it will get full benefit from it.

If the exynos 5433 is really the 64bit processor, i kind lean on the exynos 5433 this time. it is 20nm processor and in 32bit kitkat, the synthetic benchmark already outperform the snapdragon. Beside that, exynos normally will get wolfson DAC which will yield better sound quality than snapdragon based on previous model history.

The exynos processor will surely loose cynogenmod or AOSP rom support as same with note 3 with exynos. Although, there is still custom rom for exynos.

Any other snapdragon benefit beside the better cynogenmod/aosp rom support?

The improvement is not enough for a replacement. I stick with my note 3

So does the 4 get waterproof capabilities like S5?

I am happy they not put waterproof.  If can't make a proper bezel, don't put this gimmick feature. It is nothing really useful on waterproof. It won't last longer,  unless you never open any flip cover port forever.

Actually they is a lot changes in Note 4, 2K display, much much better OIS camera,  aluminum side,  much improve S Pen sensivity,  fast charging, I pick fast charging than USB 3.0 if USB 3.0 can't delivery fast charging yet.

The only down side for me is speaker back to real.

Liquidpel it should be below RM200 if not mistaken.

Wonder if the Gear VR will be available at launch, want it as a personal cinema.
If the experience turns out well, will be getting the Note 4. 

I prefer big screen because big screen can see more and nice to view. Nothing related to my eye issue.

I just pass HTC ONE M8 for my sister replace her Sony Xperia ZL.

HTC ONE M8 is a solid phone but too bad I too need big screen. So bye bye M8.

Next year I not going step in any 5" phone ever already. My minimum is 5.5" up to  6".

Agree. Bad move by Samsung. The palm is gonna block the sound when using.

Yeah , ppl,shld just stick wt note 3. Cheaper. Got USB 3.0 some more.
