That why Samsung remove AMOLED PLUS which only appear at Note II.
This really nice.
Not that fast for current AMOLED already. The only huge seen yellowish is NOTE II which run full ARGB AMOLED PLUS that no longer use by Samsung after that.

That the main reason Samsung remain pentile display to extend the life span.
Only happen for Note II which use none pentile and full ARGB AMOLED PLUS  screen.

Which I like.

Pentile is very unnatural, just like both my S3 and Note 3.

And my S4 has very poor refresh rates, 'ghosting' will occur

But you need sacrifice the life span then.

S3 yes not natural and ghosting.

Note 3 and S5 for me is kind of perfect already. No idea on S4.

If it is somethg like s5, then quite hard to use. Only 1 out of 10 times will successful.
Some more need to swipe down.
Finally just don't use that feature. It's half baked copy of the magnificent TouchID

A theory at first, but slowly it becomes a fact. As we all know blue LEDs has the shortest lifespan among the RGB

Differences are very minimal, but it gets worse and worse.

I've been trying to take the differences on camera, but it is not really visible. Will try it at a later date.
*
Wow that sucks, hope Samsung come out with a solution :/

Always wait. All phone manufactures are more likely to have defects on their first batches

Apple really pull out well with their fingerprint scanning experience.

Samsung in the other hand need work harder. Their fingerprint scanner is build by Synaptics, company who make most of your laptop touch pad.

AMOLEDs have lifespans, after 2 years of heavy usage will turn yellowish

Now at least this is a valid criticism...yes apple implementation is far better...i think part of the problem its Samsung limited space below as apple hav a big round home button while samsung hav s mush smaller rectangle button...not too sure how can samsung improve it...hopefully they find a way..

htc one m8 look also very similar with m7. Mi 4 many people said look like ifon.

note edge appearance is so far more unique due to the flexible screen
