even within TH, wonder what type of commercial Units that TH has planned. Earlier whispers was perhaps something like Tropicana City Mall but with IOI City Mall and perhaps K2, would that be too many shopping malls so close to each other.

Yes, MKH still have big mall in the masterplan, wait for right timing/management team only.
Hopefully TH = mini publika component will be interesting not so much mall but retail centre.

Looking at Tropicana City Mall, it can't even compete with Paradigm mall. Thus I won't put high hope that Trop able to build an outstanding mall within TH. MKH Metro Kajang Plaza and Metro Point I think will get less crowd after IOI City Mall open. Both Metro Plaza and Metro Point might get more of "other kind of visitors" as most ppl claim as "zhap". Wont put high hope on MKH as well.

IOI City Mall is set to compete with Midvalley, 1U and Sunway Pyramid. (Excluding the Gardens and Pavilion as both are targeting different segment). Good news for south KV, I had visited the mall and its really exceed my expectation. But not so good news for those frequently travel along SKVE as traffic is getting worse. doh.gif

Paradigm mall is really that nice? I just went once before.... But tropicana city mall and paradigm mall is same category for me which is neiborghood mall unlike ioi city mall is a regional mall.
Well... Jam is expected like traveling to 1u via ldp

Parkfield official launch has been delay, may be rescheduled to 2015 CNY.

the initial pre launch sales is not
good . Several launches in Semenyih
this weekend will distract the focus.

It is better to launch when the central park
and clubhouse is in shape, it will attract more.
or else the marketing team will give big discount
like Metropark, subang. this is bad image
for Tropicana

Think its a few factors

1) Layout for new DSL is not good - u cannot do a walk-in wardrobe which is the norm these days for Master Bedroom

2) Side Balcony is a novelty which will quickly wear out. Might as well don't do Balcony at all

3) Totally gate-less and fence-less may not work. Still prefer Gate and Fence in a G&G Environment

4) Competition from other launches - EcoMajestic, SEH, Tiara South, Diamond City

5) NO Support from Phase 1 Buyers - Short change your Earlier Buyers

A trusted developer will get support
from former buyers.

In this case , the management
have totally betrayed your earlier
promises. that's why phase 1 buyer is
not passionate on the whole project.

No point to win so many awards, but not
honoring your valuable buyers.

It is a lesson to all the major developers around.
Do not ignore your customer who has signed the snp.
Valuable customers areyour return customers.
