In my opinion ERO600 wont give you full result in corrective performance unless we're talking about Flex 3401..  brows.gif

Rotary still the best for corrective performance..

Correct me if i'm wrong..  sweat.gif

Partially agree....in a way...rotary will be able to do corrections QUICKER. With the right pad and compound, even the Bosch ROB can do corrections....albeit in LONGER TIME. Well....ok....you're right. Better corrective performance with a rotary.... tongue.gif

My sheepskin wash mitt damage already but I am unable to get a replacement so quickly so I bought one microfiber wash mitt to use for the time being. And then one can of Meguiar's Brake Dust Barrier. Previously was disappointed by the durability offered by Sonax Wheel Rim Coating NanoPro so want to try this alternative.
That's all la din buy much. But if you are AUTOGYM fans then now is indeed good time to buy from there. The best thing about this web store is shipping is free within peninsular.

Not sure whether high contaminant or not.. But we have clay and polish before apply rainX..

Anyway, can I ask you something? When we worked in high temperature, as I know we need to down size the work area and I did.. But why product still caked on my pad and on the paint?

Any suggestion? Thanks

IME polishing on new car wont harm your paint.. If you have concern on your paint I suggest you to do coating after polishing.. Just a suggestion..

Can let us know what brand your new car is?

wash-clay-polish-rainx

I think should be wash-clay-polish-clean-Apply IPA-rain X. Also is your polish meant for windscreen/glass?

oh, I have this experience of applying it at night. The whole windscreen blur up with dew. I wiped it off again and again.

So, I should just leave it as it is?

hi all I am new here.. recently quite keen with diy-ing however I am still unsure which products is effective and avoid doing more harm.. hope all sifus can give some valuable inputs! rclxms.gif

1 silver car- 5 year old

1 black car- less than 3 months old

some of the items that i have on my shopping cart..

1. Sonax (230241) Wheel Cleaner Plus

2. Liquid Glass LG-100 Ultimate Auto Polish/Finish - 16 oz.

3. Leather Honey Leather Conditioner, the Best Leather Conditioner Since 1968, 8 Oz Bottle.

4. Meguiar's G17216 Ultimate Compound - 15.2 oz.

5. Meguiar's G19216 Ultimate Polish - 16 oz

6. Nu Finish Liquid Car Polish

7. Meguiar's G17516 Ultimate Quik Wax - 15.2 oz

Which are some of the best for mirror like deep rich finishing for a black car???

Also i am considering to import scotchgard paint protection film by 3M. I cant stand the daily scratch and flying rocks on the new black car.. any comments on the product? it is quite rare here in malaysia? those that i found are mad in price! probably gonna diy myself..

and for coating it seems like quite popular among the discussion here.. is it necessary?? would coating be destroyed by wax n polish n etc?

Last week, i just managed to use UC alone by hand remove most of the swirls made by p2 SC back then when i sent my car to repaint. But still saw some deeper scratches here and thr and luckily those scratches did not caught my nail, still got chance to eliminate them if i got myself a polisher.. at least now my hair would not stand when i saw those hologram swirls all over those panels during the noon time.

BTW,

I think P2 SC ran their rotary machine thru my car rear lights and it is now swirled heavily. I have tried meg plastx and this product sucks and made thing worse. I have tried on my cd and even with the lightest pressure, the cd swirled and no chance to remove it no matter how long i worked on it. Any other recommendation that works better?
