yes, of course 2x points otherwise all the members will reject to combine the points from both aeon member card and new aeon card into one. so it's better to use other cc as any other cc will have better benefits than the basic 1x point on new aeon card (another 1x point is from aeon member card). lol...

Actually it's marketing way that you get 2x AEON MEMBER points = 1+1 not 1+2.
Why 1+1, cos the Bonus Point collected on the NEW AEON Gold Card will be transferred from CC to your AEON MEMBER every 24th of each month.

doesn't matter for me because i always use 2 cards.
1) aeon member card + aeon cc
2) aeon big member card + aeon cc
the only difference for (1) is you need to carry 2 cards instead of 1 card (combining aeon member card & aeon cc). benefits wise is the same.

so when I shop jusco and during payment time, I have to give the counter aeon member card for +1 point, aeon gold for another + 1 point and amex for payment?

1) aeon member card + aeon gold
2) aeon member card + amex

For aeon point, the cashier swipes the member card at the check out machine, not card terminal so no payment there.
