my recent bt experience (in brief) with aeon...

aeon cs: sir, your cl balance is not enough to do a bt for 12k, you need to clear up at least 13k of your outstanding balance in order to do that.
me: ok, i will pay 13k in a while later.
aeon cs: sir, if you have 13k with you, why not you just pay off your other cc 12k with the money?
me: no other reasons, i'm just giving you some job to do so that you will not be jobless. thank me later.

*after few hours later i received sms stating that my bt is successful.

oops, i also single minded mah...

ok, i should have answered this... because i want to earn that points!!! it worth rm50!!!

that was a cut-short version.

actually, i faxed the form earlier, then this conversation came when the aeon bt team called me in the morning to inform that my cl balance not enough (i put as aeon cs). after the conversation, she said she will call me back but she did not mention when. as i was just nearby to aeon credit service, so i paid within that same hour or two. she called me back right after lunch time and did the verification process with me. then within the same hour (45 minutes later to be exact), i received the bt approval sms already.

if mbb2amex really full already and you don't have other cc with petrol cb, always remember to go pump at caltex for 3% with mbb2mc instead of 5x tp (equivalent 2%) with mbb2amex.

oops, sorry. i mean the other card besides amex. mc/visa also included in the 3% cb at caltex.

petrol transaction is not entitled for the 3% quarterly rebate.

yes, but make sure it's rm100 per transaction or it may be easily flagged as non-petrol transaction.

no, only 5%.

pinch of salt card can be applied on your birthday month (the day you dine) and it can be used together with aeon watami.

the 5% petrol promo is on the last sunday of every month. on certain months (based on special occasion), they will extend the promo period front and back.

as i know, they don't send sms/email, you need to check yourself by going to any merchant who is using pinch of salt card.

this time only aeon big member day 5% for 2 days but aeon cc 5% still maintain for 1 day 28th only.
