Submitted my application on 17th and nobody called or anything. Decided to give CS a call last night and no record of my submission. She promised to call me back again after her checking with MV branch, as expected an empty promise.

I called again just now and still said no record and I demanded to receive an update tomorrow or else don't bother to process my application as I'm no longer interested.

I applied HSBC on the same day and it is already approved, now waiting for the card to arrive.

Seems like this is a normal practice and I definitely cannot afford to wait for one month when I'm due for travelling soon. Nobody is around to collect the card and do the necessary.
I will call them again and if the answer is still negative, I will ask them not to process anymore. I'm no longer interested.

Fortunately, my yesterday's conversation was picked by the supervisor and he just made a call to me and apologised the whole thing.

He asked for half an hour will personally make a call and follow-up for this.

The supervisor really did close follow-ups to close my case. He made several calls yesterday to update me the status. So, apparently my application form was locked in the drawer in MV branch.

They have brought my application form to HQ today and now they are in the midst of doing the necessary. Somebody will call me for verification later and let's see if it will be approved. I shouldn't foresee much issue as I fulfill its requirements. I told them, if I don't get it by next week, they can stop the process as I'm no longer interested.

Looking at the gold colour card, I'm not that interested but well for PPL sake.

I was told the verification call will come to me this afternoon.
Let's see.

My card is approved and they promised to send to me by this Friday as I'll be travelling next week.

The supervisor is still doing close follow-ups and keeps calling me from time to time. Good service.
He even said if I still have problem can always call the CS and ask for him.

Yes, damn good service! I was so angry earlier but seeing how he tried to fix my case has calmed me down.

I was so lucky that he randomly picked and chose my conversation with CS to listen to, else my frustration will not be heard.

I don't know how to make use of this AEON credit card. I applied the Gold Visa for PPL sake.
I occasionally buy stuff from AEON Jusco and rarely from AEON Big.

Any suggestion? So, in short every time I buy my things from AEON, straight use this card to swipe?

Got my card and it was delivered to my office via Citylink.

I'm too busy now, later will activate it and figure out how to register an account online.

I just called, mine is swipe any amount within first three months and get RM 50 credited back to my account.
I asked about your RM 74 promo, he said over already.

By the way, for those wanna apply for AEON Credit Card but I think, they are hard-selling AEON Gold card, there is a booth set up in Sooka Sentral, KL Sentral. Free gift is a tabung.

Have you tried calling the CS to check the approval status?
After few calls but no concrete updates, I voiced out my dissatisfaction over the phone and told them not to proceed further as I wasn't interested anymore. Fortunately, my call was being recorded and being picked up by their superior. His name is Lam and helped me to follow-up thoroughly till its closure.
I was told my form was locked in the drawer at MV outlet.

Guys, thinking of buying iPhone 6. Should I apply Watami card since I can have more cash back compared to AmEx?

I want to buy two units and don't mind separate it into two quarters... How is this counted? Based on the calendar year or based on my application time?

But again, every quarter seems a bit too long. Any secondary card that I can apply besides Watami to have better cash back than AmEx?
