Feels grippy almost like hard rubber. Definitely gripper than oneplus original case. Most importantly it covers the chrome plastic surrounds so it won't get dented easily.

I got the black one it makes the Oneplus looks a bit like a larger version of Nexus 5.

NightFelix the distronic case .. how does it feel in the hand .. slippery?
comparing to 1+ ori back cover how?
*
Hmm... Slippery? Well that is depend on people perspective. I can tell that it was Soft Touch back with Matte Finishing, button more clicky and most importantly it fit my tempered glass. laugh.gif

Of course mine is Sandstone Black, so must be more easier to grip than Silk White.

I was playing GTA:SA and it was draining like 5% within 15 minutes max and gets super hot. laugh.gif

BTW, Ringke updated their case with another colour, smoke grey. I think this looks better.  biggrin.gif

Not really a fan of hard plastic cases it doesn't feel nice to hold, plus clear or white tends to turn yellowish after awhile.

I like what spigen did with the nexus 5 ie Neo hybrid, it will be nice if they did something for Oneplus.

In the meanwhile quite happy with Diztronic, it covers the phone well that it makes it look like part of the phone instead of a case. However the back is still prone to finger prints.

I don't have the ringke, I have the spigen ultra hybrid. But from what I know, they're both the same material.
This is 8 months of usage. Kinda hard to see with my N5 on so I took it out. And hard to see under normal lighting unless do something like what I did. (sis hand btw  laugh.gif )
*
Not shabby for 8 months. laugh.gif

Good to know, I'll use it for awhile until something better comes along. Watched the review on YouTube for Tudia and Cruserlite I think Diztronic still comes out on top, next will be Cruserlite but they have problems with accessing the volume and power buttons.

If the surface is rough like tarmac, any phone with any glass SP will crack.

Does the Diztronic really covers everything nicely and all the cuts are proportionate with the mic/camera etc?? Feel like getting one.

I'm still on XNPH25R and still no OTA for XNPH30O. Tried manually flashing through stock recovery and it gives me this error that footer is wrong and verification failed.
Tried another edited zip file gives me error status 7.
Any ideas on how to get the update and kind enough to give instructions if it requires the use of a computer?
I'm on a Mac BTW.

I'm sorry I might not be able to help for Mac laptop. Use Windows and do as stated below.

WARNING: this method is for clean install. all your data will be lost.

1. Download xnph30o from this link here

2. Download android sdk slim here

3. extract android sdk slim in C drive. so the fastboot.exe will be in C:\androidsdkslim

4. Hold shift key and right click anywhere in the androidsdkslim folder. select 'open command window here'. a command prompt should be on the screen.

5. turn off phone. then, press volume up button AND power button together till it vibrate, then let it go. you should now see the word 'fastboot mode' with a face.

6. in the command prompt, type 'fastboot devices' and you should see a serial number of some sort underneath it. if nothing appeared, you haven't got the driver installed. get the driver here. if this failed to install, try this one.

7. now type 'fastboot oem unlock'. this will unlock the bootloader and erase everything on your phone. once done, disconnect usb, then get your phone back to fastboot mode. now connect the usb cable.

8. now type 'fastboot devices' again to make sure it can detect your phone. if it detect, please proceed.

9. now unzip all the files within the cm-11.0-XNPH30O-bacon-signed-fastboot.zip to the androidsdkslim folder. there are about 15 or more files within the zip which includes system.img, NON-HLOS.bin and many more.

10. now type each of the codes below and press enter and wait for it to be done before proceeding to another (files like system.img would take some time to flash completely). type without the numberings of course.

10a) fastboot flash boot boot.img

10b) fastboot flash system system.img

10c) fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

10d) fastboot flash cache cache.img

10e) fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin

10f) fastboot flash sbl1 sbl1.mbn

10g) fastboot flash dbi sdi.mbn

10h) fastboot flash aboot emmc_appsboot.mbn

10i) fastboot flash rpm rpm.mbn

10j) fastboot flash tz tz.mbn

10k) fastboot flash LOGO logo.bin

NOW PAY ATTENTION. if you have 16GB OPO, proceed to 10l)... If you have 64GB OPO, proceed to 10m).. DO NOT DO BOTH. DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE HERE COZ ELSE, YOUR 64GB OPO WILL END UP 16GB ONLY.

10l) fastboot flash userdata userdata.img

OR

10m) fastboot flash userdata userdata_64g.img

by now, if you count, you should have flashed 12 different items. not more, not less. if so, type fastboot reboot

11) enjoy your xnph30o. next you can simply rape the check updates button to get the 33r.

12) you're welcome.

P/S: if you got stuck while flashing, like 20 mins still not done flashing a single item, turn off the phone. then get back to fastboot mode again, then re do the flashing of the file that got stuck. it should be successful this time around.

for example in my case, it got stuck while flashing system.img. so i turn off the phone, get it back to fastboot mode, and do the fastboot flash system system.img again.

P/S 2: please connect usb only when the phone is already in fastboot mode. (thanks to Sunmk for this)
