You need to make sure you have upgraded your sim in order to support 4G network. It's free for celcom. Just go ahead to the nearest celcom center.

You need to know that you'll never be able to change ROM on the Mi 4. If you like the Nexus or pure Android user interface, your choice with Mi 4 would be very limited. You can only use Google now launcher and that's it.

But Mi 4 camera will undoubtedly be very good. Coz I owned Mi 3 and the photo are just amazing. I missed it.

Aaaaand, a better camera app, which will yield superior photos.

I've been using Mi 3 for nearly 2 months and since you're asking me, yes, I think its better than OPO. i mean, its pretty easy to get a photo to look good with Mi 3. i cant say the same for OPO.

anyways, both OPO and Mi 3 camera does provide pretty extensive manual settings in the camera. It is especially useful if you have an experience handling a DSLR, which if that's case, you'll love all these manual settings. like i do.

Ok, both got slow exposure, but Mi 3 range is even wider, you can control from 1/5000s to 2 secs max, while OPO, only slow exposure, ranging from 1 sec to 8 secs max (which is much slower than Mi 3 2 secs, which is good). so each got their own advantage, like with Mi 3 u can specifically set high shutter speed even for dark environments, in order to capture certain subject..

Mi 3 got manual focus (for photo mode only), but OPO doesn't.

OPO have 4k video, and slow mo video at 1080p (720p) and 720p (120fps). Mi 3 only 1080p n no slow mo.

ISO on Mi 3 is wider range from 100 to 3200, while OPO from 100 to 1600 only (but this can be compensated with slower shutter speed).

There are more things I'd like to highlight for Mi 3 camera but I don't have the phone anymore. and i forgot the details. all of the above are those I can recall. Below were the only screenshot I have of the camera settings.



Exactly. When I got Mi 3, it was the first time I knew that there are phones that have so many manual settings that usually only DSLR can offer. So when I wanna change to OPO, I already set my mind to low my expectation in the camera department. Then I discovered slow exposure is at least available and I'm relieved but to my dismay, I can't set the shutter speed to my heart's desire (which Mi 3 offers).




You're right. I'm still figuring out what settings is best just to match what Mi 3 can offer me last time.

look, i hate its UI as much as you do, especially since it's mimicking iOS with the no app drawer thing. and the fact i couldn't install any other ROMs on it is why I'm with OPO now. but if we're talking about camera, let's simply discuss it without prejudice would be best i think.

I'm using celcom and I have the same problem as you are. I have already applied many suggested "fixes" like the one posted on the first page but to no avail. Shit's still the same. =(

That happened to me earlier today. And that's the first time it happened to me. Not a network problem in my case though. Why? Coz I tried to listen to whatsapp voice message and put the phone to my ear but it's still silent too. Only loudspeaker working at that time. After reboot, it's already ok.

Some of us here are still experiencing problems with the network. Even after applying some suggested fix. So you've been warned.

That battery life is that good coz data is off with WiFi only. Try it out yourself.

Settings > Buttons > Buttons and layout.

Coz my in car charger currently couldn't charge my OPO very well. I mean it works well with other phones but apparently not OPO.

So, any of you guys here already using a good car charger for OPO?

I think you should let him use colour os coz I have read here somewhere that people said the camera on colour oasis much better than the one on CM11S.

Exactly. It differs by usage pattern. Every time if someone wants to compare battery life, it'd be really helpful to provide a screnshot of Screen On Time, the battery graph and battery usage by app. Refer to the way sifus here posts their battery life.

I've never flashed different kernels too. Would like to know if it really helps and if it'd still allow ota to be installed naturally.

Btw if you guys can remember, I used to have sot nearing 7 hours most of the time but now it's just not possible anymore after the 30o update . Always hover around 4 hours plus now. Damn.

I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Can't wait!

I guess. At least that's what twrp told me right after I flashed 33r. So, following the twrp suggestions, I let it reflashed root. Once I booted up, root is there. So I simply re-enable xposed.

I have a high expectations for this update. Hope it solves a lot of problem.

30o first.

Because this is an incremental update. The size of the update explains itself ; 66MB. Simply put, the one we got is not a complete ROM, but just a patch for existing 30o, which in turn, once installed, it'll qualify the system as 33r.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

If you're seeking help here, please provide what error code did you encounter. That way, we might have an appropriate solution for you .

Which build are you currently on? 25r or 30o?

Which zip did you downloaded, Ota for 30o or 33r?
