QUOTE(Chyan @ Aug 18 2014, 03:11 PM) Not bad. But this was mine with wifi only with lots of social stuff and some video playback. 5 hours 27 min. u r using franco kernel? i think our consumption pretty much the same, cuz u use a lot of power frm video and social stuff and just for reading, but still nt as good as 4.4.2,https://www.dropbox.com/s/fun8387dmez75a5/2...%2019.25.39.png This post has been edited by aserap: Aug 18 2014, 03:46 PM |

QUOTE(droidtrix @ Aug 19 2014, 08:42 AM) Good Morning Guys/ Gals.. im using franco kernel right now, im watching some movies, whatsapp and some light social network,I have reverted back to Ver25R, the Battery Drain Issue is unbearable. Since yesterday morning 8.00am (unplugged), put standby till evening around 4pm (with whatsapps and sms with mild usage) the Battery down ti 37% and by the time i reached home it left abt 10%. Wait for the fix from CM. now my battery showing 65% on 12hr and 3hours sot .. its nt as good as 25r, bt bearable.. |

Im on 30O with frnco kernel.I nvr face that auto shutdown prblm before ( my battery going lower than 10% around 4-5 times)
About the battery drain im nt really sure i got it or not, for me my battery life is kinda good, Wifi on, data off Heavy gaming for around 2 hours with vibrates and speaker on. Watch sitcom for 4episode, should be around 1hr20min. Youtube/social network between tht, reading ebook till now. so, im doing ok or still got the battery life problm? i can't be the judge here, i'm from phone tht have bad battery life whatever u do.. QUOTE(xxdesire @ Aug 20 2014, 05:42 PM) Battery drain mostly kernel side. So if your Android OS is high (awake) or you can check with BBS, means got drain. thats a relive to hear, But seems good with your usage. Edit: Also I notice your network bar is low? If your signal not that good, battery consumption will be higher as it will constantly try to search for network. |

QUOTE(lowyard @ Aug 22 2014, 01:33 AM) Exactly. It differs by usage pattern. Every time if someone wants to compare battery life, it'd be really helpful to provide a screnshot of Screen On Time, the battery graph and battery usage by app. Refer to the way sifus here posts their battery life. On 30o i used to get 4hr+ , using franco its now 5hr+. Not a lot of improvement bt still... I've never flashed different kernels too. Would like to know if it really helps and if it'd still allow ota to be installed naturally. Btw if you guys can remember, I used to have sot nearing 7 hours most of the time but now it's just not possible anymore after the 30o update . Always hover around 4 hours plus now. Damn. I'm waiting for mine to arrive. Can't wait! Wow new ota already release? Any1 with franco kernel get the update? |

QUOTE(sKrewd @ Aug 22 2014, 11:42 AM) just flashed it via TWRP. file's ok. cant provide feedback on much else as it's too soon. please note that it says you need to be on the 2nd OTA (30O, i believe) to install 33R. QUOTE(xxdesire @ Aug 22 2014, 11:43 AM) Bro's,give a lil feedback about the battery consumption later plzz, |

Franco kernel on 30o so dont expect major change in 33r It's 2-3hrs SOT difference, thats a lot QUOTE(Teeg @ Aug 23 2014, 01:59 PM) the battery is improved on 33R but stil ,25R is champ On this, im with u.
