If you have any friends in US, perhaps you can ask them to look for Craigslist. ALMOST ALL owners of these laptops want to give it away for nothing in US. They simply dont collect these.

you should research what kind of system you want first before buying blindly. Some got dot matrix screen which is total shit.

if you want modern and more powerful G3. Get iBook G3
if you do not mind slower processor, get Powerbook G3

U can install Mac OS 9 in a power mac g4, imac g3.... I have my Power Mac G4 MDD running with 10.5, 10.3 and OS9..

U can use an ide.... Wic u can easily get from GS...

I got my Cube as a faulty unit....... I was happy enough to get it... I laid my hands on it... It was the HDD. Apple's ori hdd...

Relplaced it, had some issues.... But is running now!!!!

Honestly i think i spent too much on it.. bid from japan website. It was nice and all but pos malaysia screw it.. top part cracked and broke.. i had to glue all of it.. looks bad now, thats the least i could do..

The delivery process of the item....smthg wic i am very afraid of. I got one of my Powerbooks screwed --> the seller ddnt do a good job.

But still couldnt resist this iBook ! From Kelantan, the quality looked good, price was good, couldnt resist it!

Requsted the seller to give it a good packing, which he did. But still Pos Laju did a shitty job ! The box was torn in pieces
And the delivery took two days. Luckily the inner packing was good, else i dnt know the condition of the ibook wic would hv been.



Tested, runs good, reformatted ..... One thing i learnt-> couriering fragile stuff is a risk !

However my Cube came from Penang, lucikly my collegue was going there and had him fetch it, else ..... The price ? You wont believe it !!!!! 250RM, for the Cube, the brick and the CRT monitor... That is one good purchase.

Just replace the hdd... When it runs again...itll b worth it !

wow lucky. dude, hook me up if you find any.. yeah the cube price was ok, around rm300-350(i forgot the exact cost) but the shipping was crazy as hell.. i ended up paying shipping more than the price itself.. couldnt resist to buy it.. been looking for one.. at least not as crazy as the one in ebay usd1000 etc...
