4GB RAM
500 SATA HDD

@RM600, bundle 20" cinema display @RM1k. ?

izit troublesome to upgrade SSD?

well even if you upgrade to SSD you're pretty much stuck to (now) ancient mac osx, do read the link below if you want to use this as an everyday desktop.

modern desktop apps for leopard or switch to Linux

Every item have life cycle. Not all apple macs have high resale value.. the one shared here, most of them are mass produce products. Imo, much better than other products

Short answer is NO. Most of us bought purely as collection and some for modding purposes. Max use cycle imo 5-7 years, after that obscelete.

even with ssd and linux imho it is sucking more electricity than needed to do the same thing a ULV chromebook can do.
however for collect and nostalgia it is nice.

thanks for all the feedback. want to buy it as part of collection. but then felt skeptical with the seller.

wanted to close deal at RM400 but ask for bankin 1st. better just call off the deal, even if he just offer for RM100.

Japanese website.. in the end shipping more expensive than itself, plus, poslaju screwed the delivery, arrived cracked.. i had to glue back.. sigh...

Thats too expensive lol.. i'll pass on that haha. Already running hackintosh on my desktop lol.. thats why i looking for g5 case, wanna change the guts and put my current system in it

it's not plug and play the guts of apple ppc even apple intel is different compared to standard pc components
