i know the feeling, reason i changed is becuz my wife drives the car most of the
time and she really get angry when they dun move, so changelor...now she happy
and me also happy...dun get nagging..kekekek

eh, anyone CT/Jazz owner installed HID?

I wanna find out, HID low/high, what does low & high mean ah??

And, if change to HID, do I need the convertor?

low beam / high beam la....

Parking Light = First tick when you turn the right stalk clockwise.
Low Beam = Second tick when you turn the right stalk clockwise.
High Beam = Pull back the stalk for instant high beam and Push forward the stalk for High Beam.

If you are getting a HID set, look for those with H4 base. Plug and play.

1. ECU Upgrade, unsure if it's normal or problematic. Whilst cruising at 100km/h or higher, when you lift off the accelerator.. the RPM climbs as much as 400rpm before reducing. -Agree ... usual problem for me esp on h/way mentioned by SA worr
2. Front Disc rotors warped. -Entah apa itu

3. Uncomfortable suspensions. loose "sounds" when travel on uneven roads. -Sumtimes, esp going over bumps

4. Part of dashboard creaking. -Sumtimes got sumtimes no. How?

5. When reversing, there's loud shudders coming from the dashboard. -Wat it sounds like? I dun recall any sound when reversing worr

6. Aircond requires servicing. -I got them to fit a carbon filter(for free) for me on my 2nd service but smells came back after a while, not very strong though. Usually will oni smell it when u start the car n on the aircon. After sometime, it goes off

7. Time for Wheel Rotation -done that

Hi City members... would like to ask something.... my friend recently sold his city to another friend.. now the car seem to have some problem.. the car is the first batch of City.. the problem is now the CVT have gone wrong somewhere somehow.. send back to service center, guess wat.. the service center say if wanna repair that, it cost more than RM20k.....

any of u guy face the CVT problems?? please jaga it baik baik.. else..

it's a known problem, touchwood we all here don't get the same problem. Otherwise die la... time to sell the car as scrap.

what prob actually? is the new batch city still hv this prob?

if the car still under warrty (3yrs/100k mileage) then u can claim the transmission if the defect was caused by manufacturers fault. if user fault........dig ur pocket for $20k as u said lo

The 2003 i-idsi are the ones that are the ones you'll usually see reporting about the issues. it's due to wrong transmission fluid used, but could be wrong. they call it the start clutch failure.
