Go google for information on what and how CVT gearboxes works. Small number of owners had problem with their CVT and it usually takes place around 40k-60k mileage. HM resolves the issue with an explanation that the wrong fluid was used for the CVT gearbox. Mainly affect the 2003 models.

I just kena an accident because I didn't respond fast enough to a stopping car in front of me while doing a turn sad.gif
Now my left side is slightly dented (Only the body metal part is dented, bumper is ok) so I'll need some advise on the knocking workshops available in KL, preferably near to Old Klang Rd area.

If your car is still under warranty, best to return to your service centre to get the repair work done. Consult them if your type of damage is possible to be done outside without voiding your warranty.

Umm.... I didn't know that accident repairs have anything to do with warranty wor.
It is just a dent (outwards) behind the headlight. Just requires a minor knocking. Actually I can just ignore it but I doubt the warranty would be voided, other than the rust warranty.

Furthermore from what I gather is SC uses third parties for these kind of repair.

It depends to what extent the damage your city has smile.gif

if it's a rather minor one, i guess it should be okay to get it done outside.. but if it affected the chassis in anyway, it should be done by honda (especially if u're involved in accidents that involves insurance claims..) either way, it wouldn't harm to enquire from your service centre itself..

you should be well aware of how "Malaysia Boleh" when it comes to repairing works..

Since u're asking about old klang road, peringgit auto do have their repair team at the service centre.. the service centre should be open for work tomorrow smile.gif

Actually I bought mine from them, Peringgit tongue.gif
It's actually an advise from my SA to get the pricing from a few other workshop coz their SC is definitely gonna be more expensive. (According to the SA, warranty not an issue here) So that is why I hope that I can get some assistance from the City owners here. The workshop located anywhere in KL/PJ also no problem.

Is this urgent?
I'll have to ask my college mate who knows these kinda workshops better than I do smile.gif

Servicing car at service centres are known to be expensive laugh.gif What more repair works wink.gif but at least you know they'll use original parts, and any chassis work will be properly done.. But since it's just a minor fender dent, okay la..

I'll get back to you once i grab hold of my friend for information..

lucky that it wasn't something major.. either way, do drive carefully cuz these days.. a lot of riders aren't riding with their brains intact.. and i saw a lot more reckless drivers on the road during festive times.. shakehead.gif

sure boh... original headlights should be very expensive. Original fog lamps for the 4G city are around RM400 EACH. So a pair will be ~RM800. That's just the fog lamp, if headlights sure more expensive. Correct me otherwise.

actually its not the gender of the driver/rider which is the question....man/woman....sama saje... if u suck u suck...

thing is....it was raining SUPER heavy and she was flying in between cars...i guess to balik kampung since she was carrying a very heavy knapsack....when she skidded the weight of the bag made her unbalanced and so she fell lor...

its not something anyone wants to happen....now i more carefull when i signal during jams man....if possible i dun wann to enter a jam at all...prefer to jalan further route....that day in Jalan Imbi oso got a bike scrape my side view mirror EVEN when i retracted it....shows that sometimes they can be very annoying and irresponsible...luckily i rub wax and polish it away....(ruber stains from handle)

sigh....overseas different...they dun allow lane splitting in UK and US which i think is good if implemented here....u line up like car and if it is raining go wait it out la...cannot selok belok in between cars....alot of accidents happen that way when they wanna overtake haphazardly....

sigh....ramblings of an old fogey...... sad.gif

3G headlamps, a pair only cost RM400. RM200 per piece.
Tail lamps? less than RM200 per piece.
