yesterday my HM sent the CT in for its 55K service, damage was RM355/- as they changed her battery
did alignment, service and few other things and they threw in a RM40/- dicount service voucher for next trip...

What is done with the 55K service? Expensive man!
Change battery is costly??? They need to reset / config the ECU / CVT after that?

IF the car has been fully paid off, i wld advise you to sell it off,
that particular model really really old, sell use the $$ get something nice for yourself

is the car under your name or any of your family member's name?
if it's still under your dad's name, is it possible to renew the roadtax/insurance?
even when it comes to selling, the car transfer wouldn't be possible as well.. unless you use a runner that is, with "extra fees" ?

i'm not entirely sure about this issue though.

My 55K service cost breakdown:-

1. Laboour - 55K Preventive Maintenance Service = RM 58.50
2. Parts - Engine Oil Vtec-L = RM 61.30 (after 15%)
3. Parts - Washer, Drain 14MM = RM 1.38
4. Parts - Oil Filter = RM17.00 (after 15%)
5. Alignment = RM 29.00
6. Balancing = RM 29.00
7. Maintenance Free Battery = RM 156.00

Grand Total - RM 352.18
