where you did the fumigating thing?
its just for the smell or it also kills small insects living in the car? for people who often eat in their cars and don't keep it clean sure will have roaches then lizards. BTW Goodyear Eagle F1 is good but kinda expensive, Ducaro kinda noisy for me compared to the Yoko's I had earlier can't remember the model though. You know the engine is very quiet so the tyre noise will always be the loudest noise. |

Yeah, when its brand new straight from the 3S you can probably fetch that price but after that not really. After using for a couple of months it will become dirty with carbon from the brake pads and micro scratches from wind swirls.
Then you bring it in to trade-in sure the mechanic got lotsa excuse to press the price down. Coz not many would want to buy it from them later on unless for those with steel rim and want to upgrade to OEM alloy rim or as a cheap alternative. However, original 15" rims fetch a good price generally because OEM products are generally of a higher quality and tested more than aftermarket products. Plus the fact that 15" tyres are cheaper but is definately the everyday man's best combination of performance and price. Well, of course rare rims like Integra Type-R or Subaru WRX STi, without tyres can still fetch over RM2000. |

QUOTE(Jackie Leong @ Sep 4 2006, 01:35 AM) if your rims are non-dented and scratchless, it could still fetch a good price.. i know friends who got trade-in price range of between RM600-800 LOL, i dunno about that but its not impossible.besides, those rims that we trade in are probably recycled/sold back to the manufacturers to be fitted back to new cars |

Bring it to a good installer.
Don't always go for CHEAP. Later you see the shut-lines of your interior ruined by the crude handy work of the installers. |

KK Lau is good but you better be there to watch them work so they don't take short cuts and they're quite popular so don't expect to get it at the cheapest price.

From what I read the Jazz/City doesn't have a learning ECU for driver habits.
Its because the CVT has an infinite possible ratio's compared to 5 for most manual cars it can always match the driver habits/engine speed/gradient/etc. all the time. Try giving it a spin going up Genting. I found it very smooth compared to my old automatic car which I have to constantly go from [D] to [2] to [L] and mostly [L] sometimes. The CVT lets you go on [D] smoothly and with power all the way up. |
