man in the high castle season3 tv series.
alternative history, alternative universe, parallel worlds... syfy drama from philip dick. 3/5.
good stuff... next season, i see the nazis go to war with the pons... with allies sabotaging both sides to correct history... will be fun.

just watched this the night comes for us. 3/5.

i find it OK but... too much violence, too much gore.... more than than raid1, raid2.

while joe taslim in raid1 and julie estelle from raid2 joined iko uwais in this one, there is one glaringly missing - yahya ruhian (mad dog in raid1).

i was looking forward to see him fight with uwais again but no... he wasn't there.

Yeah... So much brutality... I like.. .. I too half hoped to find "mad dog" too.. Alas, he wasn't there. Though, seems he was represented by one of the core friends.. Going to watch it again tomorrow for kicks.. haha

finally... watched Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days. good!

a sequel to Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds, the story focus on the 3 guardians and their past lives.

less fantasy action than the last one but a more compelling story with some nice twists towards the end.

140 min long. 3/5.

2 average movies...

equalizer 2 is a bit disappointing. not such a great sequel to equalizer 2014.

denzel washington, as usual, is dashing in this crime thriller but the storyline is kinda stale.

supported by pedro pascal (from narcos), an antoine fuqua film. 2.5/5.



papillon 2018 is a remake of the original 1973 (if u remember... steve mcqueen, dustin hoffman).

supposedly a true story, based on an autobiograghy... about prison escape set in the 1930's.

not as slick as stephen king's shawshank redemption but is a good drama and loyal to the 1973 version.

decent job by Charlie Hunnam (pacific rim) and Rami Malek (bohemian rhapsody). 2.5/5.

crazy rich asians... a romantic comedy.

it's an okay movie but i dunno why it is such a hit.

i will say it is pretty much cinderella revisited - poor girl + rich boy with a badass mother...

definitely a grand advertisement for singapore. 2.5/5.

mission impossible: fallout is good. the usual guys... Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan and Alec Baldwin. Jeremy Renner is no there but Henry Cavill gets in.
this is one of the better MI episodes... action packed, surprises MI style. 3.5/5.


The Meg is (syfy monster) Jaws revisited.
not too shabby... with Jason Statham, Li Bingbing, Winston Chao, Cliff Curtis. 2.5/5.


final score is diehard revisited.
not bad at all... simple story but has enough action, drama and a little humor. 3/5.
dave bautista has made it to lead actor, will see more of him in similar action movies like dwayne (rock) johnson.



so many remakes and pseudo remakes these days... next will be The Predator.

Singapore level rich with old money. Producer don't even have enough budget to show how real rich looks like.

Even the dumb kardashians family travel in private jet not in some first class commercial airline.

I haven't seen it yet.. But really, the richest fella no private jet with captain(s) on standby? Hope they've at least got a few yachts anchored around choice destinations la.. But then, could be the new wave of smarter crazy rich fellas.. Like Mark Z or Warren Buffet. Crazy cash but probably flies economy.. Maybe Economy plus at most..

here's one to watch if u watched and liked mel gibson's Braveheart 1995.

Outlaw King... a sort of sequel... there was william wallace, then there was robert the bruce.

starring chris pine. 2.5/5, watchable.

I think u need give upon 10 score rating, 2.5 doesn't seems watchable like that hahahah

I watched it 2 days ago. It's more of a chick flicks. Can see that many girls will get wet during the wedding scene. And the whole movie is just too slow pace. the main actress is not pretty also.

I also wonder why it's a hit. Probably it's just good marketing

Got notification about this Outlaw King and was pumped to watch it cuz seems okay.. But now you rated 2.5 .. Also another have to watch, else will feel like I missed out..
