Speaking of what to watch.. How would you rate "Ready Player One"? Is it really good or all hype? Planning to watch this weekend..

i will say v good.

not so much the story or drama but the details of the animation.

and the difficulties in doing that... as shown in "the making".

the audio is excellent too.

so, u gotta watch it in 4k hdr/1080p + atmos/ddtruehd.


side note: netflix/marvel's iron first season 2 is out!

For me this is a very good movie to watch. Freaking awesome! some people even keep repeating watch to catch all the Easter egg.

I already watch 3 times this movie. Haha!

Okay, will grab RPO for this weekend... As for the making, I'm one of those people who prefers to not watch the making of a movie I really like. So since this one seems like a winner, I'll skip that.. Don't want to ruin the make believe love I have..

Iron Fist season 2.. Yasss!!.. Hope it's more badass than season one.

3 times, must be really good then... Hey, no spoilers ah.. I'll watch it once and see how many eggs I can spot without loosing the enjoyment.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is an average adventure thriller.

and just a so-so in the whole Jurassic franchise.

just a mediocre joyride that u may not remember much. 2.5/5.

and somehow, it resembles jurassic park: the lost world more than anything else - maybe due to a few minutes of guest star jeff goldblum in it.

there will be jurassic world 3.

Just watched Ocean's Eight.

It's just like The Italian Job kind of movie. Not that bad but kinda boring if you used to watch this kind of movie over and over again.

So far RP1 is the best movie in 2018 i have ever watched. period.

Finally watch the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Entertaintment - Ok, Story - weak. Overall I rate it 3 out of 5 star.

What more interesting me now is next Jurassic World 3 - this gonna something very cool and please make it nicely!
Jurassic World 3 have potential be the best ever did Jurassic, can't wait it release, another 3 years?!?? probably, haha!

RP1 is like classic spielberg all over again

Big Ben is bad ass like a boss madapaka

He will be in robin hood reboot again as the bad guy

Last few Jurassic movie always hv the T-Rex striking a pose at the beginning and ending of the movie...
Also a scene where humans running along with all the dinosaurs...

Just finish watching this classic film A Chinese Ghost Story 1, 2 and 3. Still one of my favor classic HK film.

sicario: day of the soldado is a crime thriller, with violence.

it is somewhat of a sequel to the orginal but w/o the two FBI agents.

as the title suggests, it is about "soldados" in a covert war against... u can guess who.

stars benicio del toro, josh brolin (boy, he is everywhere... avengers infinity war, deadpool2) and the teenager from transformers last knight.

while i find it good enough, it is not as good as the first one. 3/5.


solo: a star wars story is a disappointing movie... poor story, not much to watch.

despite trying so hard incl throwing in bits of a light saber and a few seconds of a sith lord.

and despite using big names incl woody harrelson, emilia clarke and paul bettany.

it is no where near rogue one, another star wars spinoff, which is far better. i seriously hope hope they dun make a sequel to solo. 2/5.

Detective Dee: The Four Heavenly Kings (狄仁杰之四大天王) is a fine chinese fantasy thriller.

it is a sequel to Rise of the Sea Dragon, and a prequel to Mystery of the Phantom Flame.

a tsui hark production, i say it is the best of the trilogy.

the animation and special effects are pretty good, except for "king kong".

stars the previous cast of Mark Chao, Feng Shaofeng, Lin Gengxin and Carina Lau.

i hope there will be a 4th installment. 3.5/5.

fans of japanese anime-fantasy... bleach 2018 is out.

a netflix live action movie - for the first time.

while i am not a bleach anime fan (more of a naruto/shippuden and final fantasy fan) i did find it good enough. 3/5.

still waiting for someone to make a live action movie of shippuden!

Just watched this and as a hard core Bleach fan.. I award it a 2/5.. I understand it's hard to trim down hundreds of episodes into a movie under 2 hours. So they went for an arc? However, I'd say they wussed out and or too low budget perhaps. Wasted too much screen time on the feels. Plus, it was weird seeing humans acting like the anime characters..mannerisms and all..

Please please, if this is how they are going to act out, then better no live action movie of Naruto.. A season with the usual 24 episodes might be more fitting. Naruto is too much of a badass to just be a movie.. You watching Boruto yet? I haven't started..
