THEY TEERRK URRR JEERBS!! laugh.gif laugh.gif

I too enjoy the show..With every episode having some sort of hidden yet public meaning that we can relate to. Note!!! Parents, please do not mistake this for children.. Trust us, it is not for children. Unless you want your adorable kids to turn into something more sinister. mega_shok.gif

while waiting for the next blockbuster, 2 watchable movies here:

american assassin is an action "terrorist" thriller.

while it has its bits of good action, it is rather weak overall.

stars dylan o'brien (maze runner), michael keaton, taylor kitsch (battleship). 2.5/5.

hangman is a serial killer crime thriller.

this movie reminded me a lot of se7en 1995 (brad pitt, morgan freeman, kevin spacey).

stars al pacino (he is getting old! biggrin.gif ), karl urban (mccoy of star trek) and sarah shahi (person of interest). 2.5/5.

kingsman the golden circle is worth a watch.

i like it more than the first one.

it is a "james bond+johnny english" kind of action comedy.

u get the original guys like colin firth, mark strong... plus julian moore, pedro pascal, halle berry... and elton john! rclxms.gif

seems everyone wants to to be in it, like star wars.

great action, good humor. 3/5.

Travel, watched on tablet using headphones, so audiowise, no comments. Didn't particularly enjoy it though. Give it a 2/5. I could be biased cuz I'm a Naruto, Bleach, etc fan.. At least sad brooding characters like Sasuke had exceptional fighting skills and faced equally formidable opponents.

Watch on my home theater. So the bass was good. Vocal was clear. Story line a bit bored but when the gun fired. I mean the big one. The red one. It was rumbling.

I thought the previous one was way better. The whole golden circle tattoo on the skin kinda illogical. Using Mr Pecker for Galahad to get his memory back was weak on the script writing part.

I can only grabbed the one with DTS and PQ was ok, 2/5 from me even they tried so hard to include many A list american actor/ess inside this franchise.

the foreigner is quite a good thriller.

it has the usual packing's of a fine action thriller but is somewhat stale compared given the newer terrorism type movies around.

in addition, this "terror" is about the IRA which is more applicable in the 80's and 90's.

jackie chan still does his brand of nimble actions in melee combat while pierce brosnan is still has his "bond" character.

based on a 1992 novel, 3/5.

Thelma (November 2017)
Writer-director - Joachim Trier
Cast - Eili Harboe, Kaya Wilkins, Henrik Rafaelsen, Ellen Dorrit Petersen
Language - Norwegian with English subtitles.

A girl and her dad walk across a frozen lake.
He carries a rifle.They spot a deer.
When the father takes aim at a deer standing in the distance,
She standing in front of him, so riveted by the deer.
It is oblivious when her father turns to point
the rifle at the back of her head.
No less disturbing once the reasons behind it come to light.

The film jumps some years in the future.
She's at college and is clearly not comfortable in her own skin.
Her name is Thelma (Eili Harboe), was raised a devout Christian.
Doesn't have any real friends and seems to have no idea how
friendship actually works.

Her ultra strict Christian parents still dictate her lifestyle of the do's
and don'ts and are concerned she may compromise her morals like
many young people do when they first leave home.

She makes nightly phone calls to her wheelchair-bound mother
Unni (Ellen Dorrit Petersen) and his father, Trond (Henrik Rafaelsen)
updated on her whereabouts even for the brief moments when she’s not at home.
And she's also prone to inexplicable seizures.

As we soon sense that Thelma is causing involuntary damage to the
surrounding world.
The film owes a lot to the classic Brian De Palma’s “Carrie" but
Thelma comes with plenty of surprises, uncertain storytelling and
strangely powerful thriller.
