there are 2 version.. 8GB comes with OS.. thats y the price a bit high..
free DOS.. u install OS ownself.. but dont worry.. there will b given a dvd driver for u to install all driver and application. 4gb ram.. is enuf at the moment. if u need more. u can buy another 4gb.. which is not that expensive.. but at least that time, u hv monies to buy extra ram..

really need a workhorse laptop for work mostly but with a decent graphic card no need cutting edge. I like the y410p spec very much but my only gripe is the 14inch screen. Similar spec with 15.6 FHD screen woulde be awesome.
