Kindly let us know how it work out once you consult the SC with the wire harness issue.

For the boot, I sometimes face the problem as well. But usually upon the second trial using remote, it work out just well. On side note, kong battery also lead to cannot open the boot as its electronically controlled.

Hmm.. I think Preve also got the burning smells issue

The smell in Preve is only in new cars. It was the various oil and greases heating up and burning off. There are gone after 5,000 km or 10,000 km or so.

I'm one of the earliest Preve owners and in my case, the burning smell was gone after a few thousand km. Currently 2 years 2 months and 56,000 km on my Preve CFE.

Just to SHARE HU issue, radio on then on gps by selecting disagree the T&C suddenly the radio audio become silent. Had to agree gps T&C and go inside gps only the radio audio return. Weird

My wishlist for suprima s :praying:

-Manual box (apparently preve manual box were very smooth compared to previous proton manual box)
-Super Premum body kit matched to body paint (in this case the red colour)
-17 inch or 15 inch super light wheels in gunmental/broze finishing
-lowered suspension setup for sportier drive
-drilled brake disc (since some folks have wrapped disc)
-Retuned ecu with upgrade exasut/intake system

To be honest I am really hopping they release manual suprima and r3 doing some mod part since they are racing suprima

Actually there is no airbag at the pillar, curtain airbag located along the roof lining....The airbag logo at every pillar actually got screw inside to hold the pillar....

Tweeter u can replace, got so much space behind the pillar, but need custom bracket to hold the tweeter....

But think twice b4 changing, our HU not so good to drive aftermarket speaker....overall, sound become worst than stock speaker....

Well even if they don put some of the item as standard i hope we still can get it from r3 or some other tuning co. I currently driving cvt car and i know how smooth when driving around. Just wished the suprima gearbox is much more durable

But that the racing version of suprima with na engine

I think u can do that with preve manual and throw everything out in order to lightnen the car since the na engine is underpowered

maybe next upgrade is new 1.6vvt powerplant from gcc for the na version,maybe during facelift. 1.3 turbo still in progress

Race car la bro..and that race car is using a different type of manual gear box..it's a custom-short ratio 5-speeder I think..I remember it being mentioned in Paultan's website

That using Campro CPS engine N/A as the regulation of super saloon 1.6 race FIA no Force Induction.

The gearbox using either AISIN of Gen2 origin or Mitsu from 4G18 5 speed..

The new manual gearbox of Suprima S (launching in AUS 1st) will be 6 speed from Punch...

I have seen that Suprima S R3 racing during the build in COE Kesas, It has 2 Master brake Pump and Cylinder + Hydraulic clutch system

Just finish submit all doc ....for my new suprima....loan already approved but today the SA said will make a book, proton only open for book for 2013 car on 14/8/14......can't wait to drive it soon....
