Definitely.

1 RAW file from a 60D should be about 20MB
A 64 GB card can store about 3.2K images.
Far more than enough for any single day event including weddings.
So you don't have to worry about changing cards halfway through.
Now, videos will be a different story.

Before you say that a 64GB with a good speed (40MB/s) is really expensive...
Nowadays You can get one for way below RM100.
www.amazon.com/dp/B00AV3XK62

What will you get ?
Far better dynamic range and details.

18MP RAW of course. smile.gif

Anyway that number is a bit too high actually.

16GB card can take about 400 - 500 RAW files. 64GB can do about get you about 1600 - 2000.

Unless you spam away, I don't see how you can't do with 16GB card.

It depends on how elaborate you cover weddings though. If it's full day from morning make up, to those heng dai chi mui session (that one spam a lot) and then other stuff and including dinner - then you're better off having multiple cards in 16GB or 32GB sizes.

Let's say Full sized 18MP raw will be about 25MB (average)
That's still 2.5k images
For a 6 hours event, you'll have to take 7 pictures every minute continuously to reach that.

LegendLee estimation is quite close. smile.gif And yes, it's exactly like what he said.

Going by my folders
Folder 1 - 82 photos. 1.76GB
Folder 2 - 106 photos 2.45GB

188 photos for 4.21GB, Estimated 179 photos per 4GB.

You get 716 photos per 16GB. 64GB can get you up to some 2.8k++ photos.

Hi all, any1 can let me know what's wrong with my gf dslr? There are spot captured in the pictures (circled in red). The spot also shows up in the camera lcd screen itselft.

Is it dust trapped inside or hardware faulty itself? Cost if need to fix it?

Am not a dslr user.

Thanks in advance.

it's a big speck of dust trapped on the right side of the sensor (left side if you remove the lens and open up the sensor).

can try to blow it with little blower like this http://www.tech4mommies.com/wp-content/upl...ensorklear3.jpg , if it's still there, then you need to send it to service centers for cleaning, around rm50 maximum I think for the cost. smile.gif

Thanks for the reply.

The dslr is out of warranty. Possible to learn the right way if sensor cleaning ownself with the right equipment? Any link to share?

Since of coz it would be better diy rather than sending to SC all the time.

Not recommended to do the cleaning yourself unless you know a lot about what to do and what not to do. I tried once before, end up messed up with the sensor leaving some stain on it. Luckily mine was still under warranty so canon cleaned it free for me.

Use a rubber band and put on your UV filter and then turn it. It works for me. And you can search on YouTube for this method. I know it sounds ridiculous
