that is the case then the SEL55210 will do the job and within your budget too. Is still one of my favorite but I eventually find the 80 - 100 more to my choice if I have the freedom of time, based on photo I have taken. i end up with a manual f2.8, 90mm Zeiss prime. Surprisingly affordable and under RM2k too!

Zoom... portrait... street...

Such a lens does exist... THIS:

http://www.sony.com.my/product/sel70200g

I tried it in Yadobashi Fukuoka a few days ago... wouldn't dare hold it by the camera AT ALL - feels like it would rip off the mount at any second.

Hence yay at the A7ii's new reinforced mount. Even with that I'm not sure if holding the 70200G by the camera is going to be any less crazy.

Wait... when does the A7ii go on sale in Japan again? If by Dec I can go touch2 at Yadobashi. Buy of course not ler - unless anyone here wants me to go buy for them lol.

Cons is cannot zoom if using 1855, but its alright,i guess i mostly will use 35mm 1.8 on it.

Sandisk Extreme 45mbps
Sandisk Extreme Plus 80 mbps (80 read, 60 write like hazril said)
Sandisk Extreme Pro UHS-i 95 mbps

as long as you arent crazy about bursting non stop 8-11fps for 5 sec, the extreme plus is best bang for buck now.

mastering: if u set write to both card, yes, the bottleneck will be the slow card. but u always have a buffer, so even during writing, there is always enough buffer for a few more shots (not burst thou)

reply via phone, so text a bit messy

What is that and how is it different from the level gauge/inclinometer that is (unfortunately) missing from your A6000 but present in previous Alphas?

Ehem...

Let me rephrase that for him... GIVE US BACK OUR LEVEL GAUGE SONY... Please?

Provided the sensors are there ler.... otherwise time to save up for the 7ii... that is, if THAT comes with a level gauge.

OK I read about "Rule of Third" ...

But I set my gridline to 4 x 4 with diagonal lines too

And then I take my pic with 50:50

Is it really that bad if not using Rule of Third? unsure.gif

Rules are made to be broken.. When you break them and get the shot.. that is when it stand out above the rest.

That said, composition is still fairly important. The rules were made for a reason, although TBH, they're more like guidelines than actual *rules*.

Case in point: Following them rules to tightly all the time will result in pictures that look the same ALL the time. Adapt the *rules* to your needs and you'll be fine.

Though completely ignoring the rules are not really advisable, unless it's deliberate and for a purpose.

For instance, they say NEVER put your subject in the center cause... you know... rule of thirds...

Here's a noob example I shot earlier today, I'm not that much better myself.

The point is, however, if you want to emphasize the subject, why not put it smack dab center anyway?

*However, it's actually very complex. Which is prolly what saperates award winning full time photogs from enthusiasts like us, right? There's no real way to tell you what rules to break and what to follow to make a great picture. You are just told the rules: making the picture is up to you*

I made a little booboo with the settings shooting that though... Check the exif and you'll see. I always take shots I feel okay with, only to find out I totally screwed the settings later lol.

Is Sony NEX 3N compatible with toshiba flashair memory card? It's not in the compatibility list but the list can be outdated?
