No joke but even with the review-said-shitty-kit-lens, I appreciate it a lot (maybe because of its wideness) as it's totally different league from my RM300 P&S and my phone.

If it was my P&S/Phone, no way I can see so much dynamic range in the photo. Either it's just the bright part properly exposed with the rest all almost black or the darker part properly exposed and the rest all blown out. Satisfaction finally

Fujian 35mm 1.7 , sharp in the middle and soft on the sides/edge.

Maybe you can consider for Wesley 33mm 1.6

Good recommendation though. Worth a look

First two package with the big bag and flash still worth looking at. 3rd and 4th package nothing too great even compared to the price I buy here in SG.

Now can get 989SGD (1650 Kit + 16GB + Bag + Battery + Lousy mini tripod) from Sony Centre but I got it for 979SGD (1650 Kit + 16GB + Bag + Battery + Sirui Mini Tripod - with proper ball head, anodised surface and solid aluminium alloy) from another Sony distributor for the same package (940SGD + 39SGD for extra battery).

Even factoring in now super high RM-SGD rate (2.63), it still costs just RM2574. But of course, if you get the same package from distributor, possibly you can get at around the same price too





Not sure why but from the camera screen, I keep feel like I'm getting underexposed images when the exposure comp is set to 0.0. Under normal indoor lighting (225 lux +-), I keep dial in +0.7 ~ +1 to get what I feel is correct exposure. Eyes problem?

I'm still molesting my 1650. Thinking which lens to go for next. Probably stay with 1650 for half a year or more *maybe get Fujian 35mm F1.7 in between for fun* before getting another lens.

Anyone has experience with using macro adapter like Raynox? Is it better option to use that adapter on a 85mm prime, than using macro lens like sp90 or 100mm 2.8?

I have both if this lenses, Wesley have better build quality.
