in the comic adaptation, Frenzy didn't even regenerate. When he found Megatron's location, he then radioed his comrades and ask them to bring his body along.  laugh.gif

so who brought it? tongue.gif (im guessing it would be barricade, since he was nearest to frenzy in that fight with bumblebee)

btw,another thing..
rachael taylor, the hacker girl...she has an australian accent, yet she mentions the USA as her country...
is she meant to be american?
was the accent a mistake? blink.gif

She's from Australia, guess it's hard for her to lose that accent..
but I think she's an American in the movie...
perhaps Australian who took up US residency/citizenship? biggrin.gif

I don't know if anybody post this yet. To lazy to flip back. Bumblebee's voice was heal IS NOT because he touch the all spark. It is heal when the scene where the Autobots introduce themselves. Ratchet takes out a regenerative plasma laser. Is restores his voice over time. This comes from the movies writers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman.

Here is the part of the interview.

How did Bumblebee regain his voice and why wasn't it explained?
When they Autobots land and introduce themselves to Sam and Mikaela, Ratchet explains that he's been working on BB voice and actually treats him with a regenerative plasma laser. By the end of the movie, it's worked its magic, but I agree it could've been clearer.

there are a couple more things they explain, like why the all spark only produce evil robots and other stuff.

well this is the kind of movie that upon its release you see people shouting "OMG WOW BEST MOVIE. EVER!" and then a year or two later gets pretty much forgotten. Think Independence Day.

Unlikely, this is Transformers we're talking about. One that's a huge franchise with a big following, unlike ID4. Moreover the animated 1986 movie was a favorite and still talked about among alot of fans despite it flopped during the time. cool.gif

Talked among TF fans... yes. Talked among regular moviegoers... no. And I think we can safely say that over 90% of those who watched Transformers were not fans of any of the Transformers animated series/1986 movie.

i agree. just watched it for the 2nd time. watch the transformation carefully and you'll see that they are not "transforming" more like "morphing". plus, transformation is not persistent.

well, i stand with what i said earlier in this thread. a good movie, but not a good adaptation. just special effects galore. ironhide and rachet looks like a bloody ape. could've used a better mold.

you like transformers, better watch the '86 movie, you like special effect, watch the 2007 movie.

A lot of people bought into the hype. For a while, everyone admitted to being a TF fan (true or not) because that was the "cool" thing.

The box office is more proof of great marketing than a great film tho.

I never did follow the Transformers series when I was young, but I remember the movie. Particularly when Ultra Magnus opened some sort of cube that gave him power in the end. The music played at that scene really stunned me, the one part I liked the most smile.gif
