Three reasons to watch the movie
1. The nostalgic feel sprinkled through out the movie. 2. Megan Fox 3. Giant robots wrecking havoc on the entire city.
If none of that appeals to you, then take away all the close ups and distracting camera angles, explosions, and corny lines, you're left with not much of a movie anyway.
But which male does not love giant robots and Megan Fox?

QUOTE(rEDs @ Jul 6 2007, 07:05 PM) I strongly support on this. Don't think too much logic-fuss on action-based movies. Just enjoy the action, after all its an action movie, not shayamalan stereotype(example) Yeah well, all the close ups and irritating camera work kinda take *some* of the enjoyment off the action. And thats the one area you expect this movie to shine at

QUOTE(BurgaFlippinMan @ Jul 9 2007, 04:01 AM) Oh dear, I enjoyed it much much less on the 2d viewing. The jokes which fell flat the first time around become almost unbearable in round 2, and the muddled climactic battle is a huge letdown once you get over the 'wow' effect of seeing it the first time around. All in all though I'd still say there's enough to give it a thumbs up (I'm trying not to let Megan Fox influence my thinking here ). This will continue to make money at the BO, but its plainly clear on the second viewing that it doesnt have enough to make it a minor pop culture phenomenon like Jurassic Park, or Independence Day. What on earth motivated you to sit through this for a 2nd time?

QUOTE(redbull_y2k @ Jul 12 2007, 12:52 AM) When most ppl you know either TF fan or not talks about the movie alot, and a number of those watch it the 2nd time.... says alot about the movie. It's a hit whether you like it or not. A lot of people bought into the hype. For a while, everyone admitted to being a TF fan (true or not) because that was the "cool" thing. The box office is more proof of great marketing than a great film tho. This post has been edited by GhettoSuperstar: Jul 13 2007, 12:15 AM
