Hi my H3c is one with the locked bootloader.
the latest OTA is V100R001C900B113

however i see in your xda thread latest is V100R001C900B115.
can i update via local (download & update) without unlocking / root ?

b115 is not for ori my version tho..but if u feeling adventerous can proceed tho

anyone can share some low light mode photo? i wonder how good of the performance os f2.0 aperture camera on this phone compare to asus zenfone5? both also have f2.0 aperture and 8mp sony camera.

anyone tried using google now to place a call, mine cant seems to locate my contacts!! tried factory reset, still cant place a call by using google now.

I thought i got everything covered, follow "Using Custom Recovery: Root & Install SuperSU with TWRP" guide.
You can skip the vroot as it installs more than just root... it's an adware IMHO.


B115 is for international aka MY set, just Huawei didn't push it to our device through local OTA, i think every country get their own OTA,
some countries already got B118 if i am not mistaken, it contains specific update/patch for their region/country, our latest OTA is B113.

The same reason why you can always hear samsung device get latest KK first in US first, then only asia, MY & rest of the world...
Perhaps Huawei think the update is not significant for our device, eg: just an extra app update, etc, and they don't want to overload their server...

Nah, if you are hardcore enough hack the OTA server to receive B115.

AFAIK you can only update through EMUI ones atm, use 'Local Update', but i haven't fully tested that tho.. was on KK since day 2...

if not mistaken starting 2.3 is 4.4 dy..

traditional way, i remember is works when i got the phone, but after b113 update, now cannot, but still can do others like setting alarm and sorts.

try clear cache of google now, maybe check the permissions settings under google settings app?

tried and check all, cant work, can you place calls by google now?
