Just got my Preve just now at evening time. Takes so many effort to set everything up nicely.

The most thing i feel annoying is removing the plastic from the back seat.

Baru finish wash and wipe until sparkling. ( Using AMWAY Car Shampoo )

Overall never regret my decision getting Preve. Indeed a great car.

hi all.. im still new to this preve.. planning to get preve premium this month.. my questions are

1- if we use spoiler such as lancer GT spoiler, will it interrupt the sight when we want to look through the rear view mirror?

2- any recommendation for reverse camera? budget around rm300..

3- what is the best size for rim and tyres that will not cause the "sagat" issue?

thank u in advance for the help.... notworthy.gif notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

1. Lol, don't lah
2. RM300 is good budget, you can get a lot of installation options. Look for one who can do it plug and play with original socket, without cutting factory wires. Workmanship is also important. I did mine at EA Bukit Jalil, so you can consider as one of your choice. But I still had one of my dashboard clip snapped during the installation.

I will answer for Question 1 only. No 2 and 3 i am not sure so i don`t commend. icon_rolleyes.gif

For me I don`t recommend you to put spoiler at Preve. The reason why is Preve back is tall and high and if u add a Spoiler like Lancer GT it block your view by half.

I got saw people regret installing spoiler on car before.

Make sure you think twice and do research before install spoiler on Preve.

I assume you would install this spoiler as below :- ( Mitsubishi Lancer GT )

at the highway just now... saw a viva was driving at fast land for around 90 i assume, but a car drive even faster and just follow his car so tight. this rude attitude i face before also when i drive small car.... sometimes we just want to take fast lane for a while when middle car is driving just around 70-90 and the car just want pass the slow car and then eventually when return back to middle lane... but just always got those rushing to die ppl always like to drive so near when saw small compact car driving at fast lane....

sometimes i also see some bus driving at fast lane when want to overtake a lorry, i wondering why those car don want drive so near the bus and kiss bumper to bumper.

guess this is another reason i suggested my wive to take sedan and not small car.

Last time i use to service my old car at a Mechanic at Puchong.

Then one fine day i go change black oil. That morning a guy came in and ask my Mechanic to remove his spoiler and he told the Mechanic he regretted installing the spoiler and he said he never going to install spoiler anymore.

Reason i don`t know why. I just saw and listen what they said only.

I saw this type of issue 2 time already.

I am not those kepoh or like to simply ask people the reason why you remove the spoiler.

Spoiler alert (no pun intended), spoilers render your rear view almost useless.

I had a nasty dent around the same area of my car which was previously a Myvi. I must be dreaming when I reverse my car knocking the bottom pillar where it has a sharp curb. Bring to this small workshop and was informed cannot knock out but have to weld rod to pull out the nasty dent. I'm satisfied with the workmanship which only took a day and damage is below RM200. yes.. sure will block part of it.. not recommended.

2- any recommendation for reverse camera? budget around rm300..

recently i just installed, direct mirror on Preve Premium HU, no wire cut, just connect a socket on HU, and make a hole for camera at the back. then done. workmanship important.. i find my friend do it.. everything put nicely.. no rat noise as ppl mentioned..

3- what is the best size for rim and tyres that will not cause the "sagat" issue?

no idea.. but i think 16 inch is good.

thank u in advance for the help....  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif  notworthy.gif

1. yes. sure will block part of it. not recommended.

2. i just installed recently, rm250.. direct mirror on preve premium HU. no wire cut.. no warranty void.. plug it and view it.. since HU support reverse camera, plug in a socket, plug the camera, then thats all. Make a hole for camera.

3. 16inch will be enough.
