For Preve premium, like to know how to open the car door using the metallic key (just in case the remote is rosak or flat car battery).

I checked the part with the key symbol before and tried to pull/dislodge it but could not. Of course, gently as not to damage any thing. Yes, noted that there is a small hole at the bottom. Don't think it is big enough to insert the key. Will try tomorrow.

Tried to insert the key this morning. The hole is too small and I don't dare to push the key too hard into the hole. May ruin the paint if that is not the right way to insert.

Please advise on how to dislodge the cover.

My 2 cents here after 3 weeks with my Preve.

Happy with power, stability, spacious interior and some of the features I did not have in my old Wira (GPS, ABS, EBS etc).

Main complaints from me are the high FC (at about 12 L/100km average due to my low speed (average 20 kph) and frequent stops at traffic lights and T junctions) and the engine noise at times.

If I could turn back time, will I still buy the same Preve? YES!

If I have to "damage" the paint to use the door key, then I think that is a design flaw. I know it is possible to open from the back but one will have a tough time crawling from the back to the front!

Need advice from you all.

I cannot see the front edge of the car and thus parking can be a problem to avoid hitting the concrete floor/barrier. I must be a short guy, right? Average height. Even when I raise my body till my head is touching the car roof, I still cannot see the front edge. Problem with the car shape design.

Any advice on how to park safely when one cannot see the car front edge?

Put a small "flag" pole at the front?

Front video camera?

Front proximity alarm?

Any other better idea?

I think you need to set the volume you want before switching off the engine.

When you start the engine, it will go to where you last set it.

I think the average FC also depends on the average speed. E.g.

average speed..... average FC

20 ...................... ~12
90 ...................... ~7
110 .................... ~9

besides variables like start/stop, slowdown, sudden acceleration, etc.

I will try to get my average FC and average speed and see if I can get a graph to illustrate this.

My ESC symbol appeared on the panel. Page 68 states if it is blinking, then it is active. If it is not blinking but on, then fail warning display.

After I have switched off the engine, it disappears on restarting the engine.

Anyone got similar problem?

Just asking myself whether I should take it in for ESC check (I just had my 1000 km service, and so a bit lazy to go in again).
