For Preve premium, like to know how to open the car door using the metallic key (just in case the remote is rosak or flat car battery).
Thanks.

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Sep 2 2014, 09:10 PM) Check below the handle (driver side), under the key symbol. There's a latch for you to insert the key and dislodge the cover to reveal the lock. Thanks.I checked the part with the key symbol before and tried to pull/dislodge it but could not. Of course, gently as not to damage any thing. Yes, noted that there is a small hole at the bottom. Don't think it is big enough to insert the key. Will try tomorrow. Thanks. |

Tried to insert the key this morning. The hole is too small and I don't dare to push the key too hard into the hole. May ruin the paint if that is not the right way to insert. Please advise on how to dislodge the cover. May be a photo to show? Thanks. |

QUOTE(terryble @ Sep 3 2014, 09:32 AM) after 9 months...i have to say....the car is solid, spacious, fun to drive and comfortable~~no complains except for the R3 bodykit QUOTE(kenlui @ Sep 3 2014, 09:43 AM) Been driving the car for 2 years, so far so good. Driver seat has been replaced last year due to furry issue, front disc brake replaced during my 30k service too. Looks like I need to make another appointment soon as the helicopter sound is back again after I did my tyres allignment during the 40k service. Overall for 72k, this car is worth every bucks paid. My 2 cents here after 3 weeks with my Preve.Happy with power, stability, spacious interior and some of the features I did not have in my old Wira (GPS, ABS, EBS etc). Main complaints from me are the high FC (at about 12 L/100km average due to my low speed (average 20 kph) and frequent stops at traffic lights and T junctions) and the engine noise at times. If I could turn back time, will I still buy the same Preve? YES! Cheerio. P/S Get Preve Premium, more fun with that car. This post has been edited by plumberly: Sep 3 2014, 10:21 AM |

QUOTE(alien9 @ Sep 3 2014, 10:19 AM) My SA told me that the paint wilk calar for sure if I try to dislodge the cover. He told me, do it when emergency. Haha If I have to "damage" the paint to use the door key, then I think that is a design flaw. I know it is possible to open from the back but one will have a tough time crawling from the back to the front! |

Before I buy a car shampoo kit from Rakuten.com.my or 12v.com.my, appreciate your feedback if you have bought something from these 2 web sites.
Reliable? Thanks. |

Need advice from you all.
I cannot see the front edge of the car and thus parking can be a problem to avoid hitting the concrete floor/barrier. I must be a short guy, right? Average height. Even when I raise my body till my head is touching the car roof, I still cannot see the front edge. Problem with the car shape design. Any advice on how to park safely when one cannot see the car front edge? Put a small "flag" pole at the front? Front video camera? Front proximity alarm? Any other better idea? Thanks. QUOTE(vostro78 @ Sep 9 2014, 10:58 PM) Preve steering is heavier to control compare with my brother persona and my vios. Vios I think cause small size tyre and lighter. But persona? Can I highlight this to SC? You guys OK with the steering? This and the radio sign and weak music player that i not satisfied. Other then that I am OK . Got plan to change car player but not sure how much outside... No problem with my steering wheel, easy/light to turn.Maybe problem with the hydraulic system powering the steering wheel? Cheerio. |

QUOTE(mengsuan @ Sep 10 2014, 11:47 AM) I'm still wondering how did you get 7.9L/100KM. Jealous. I'm not sure is it that I didn't break in the engine enough during <1000KM. I think the average FC also depends on the average speed. E.g.average speed..... average FC 20 ...................... ~12 90 ...................... ~7 110 .................... ~9 besides variables like start/stop, slowdown, sudden acceleration, etc. I will try to get my average FC and average speed and see if I can get a graph to illustrate this. My 2 cents. |

QUOTE(sanadi @ Sep 10 2014, 02:53 PM) That has been done by Drex Chan, using community data from Preve CFE owners. Many thanks![attachmentid=4128277] As you can see, 70 - 100 kph average speed is the best for FC. Try to maintain that speed as much as possible. When accelerating to those speeds, accelerate normally. That means simply keeping up with traffic, neither faster nor slower. Just accelerate like everybody else. Edit - original link to Drex's Facebook posting: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=749...&size=800%2C480 Good to know that the FC will improve from my current 12 L/100km (20kph) to 8 L/100km with just average speed of 40kph. Cheerio. |

AA Like to know which SC allow $ top-up for using synthium instead of Mach 5.
BB The 10,000 km service is when the odometer reads 10,000 or 11,000 km? That is additional 10,000 km after the 1000 km service. CC 6 months is from the registration date or 1000 km service date? Thanks. |

My ESC symbol appeared on the panel. Page 68 states if it is blinking, then it is active. If it is not blinking but on, then fail warning display.
After I have switched off the engine, it disappears on restarting the engine. Anyone got similar problem? Just asking myself whether I should take it in for ESC check (I just had my 1000 km service, and so a bit lazy to go in again). Cheerio. |
