Thanks two sifu, i guess we will take this service then. We booked our hotel in tokyo already so we cannot stay at airport hotel. By the way, the airasia flight landing at 1030pm, normally by what time we can settle immigration thing and take our luggage?

I am having same scenario here but i am on Osaka Kansai Airport, does the taxi rate same for Osaka?

I do hope that I can get into last Haruka / JR / Nankai Airport Express train to Namba.

P/S: kinda regret buying late arrival tickets just because it is cheaper sad.gif

Thanks for the information guys. Appreciate it. By the way, the exchange rate for yen is quite good now, so it is better to exchange money now. I am going to change tomorrow

Pls advise on how to get hold of ghibli museum tickets? I am currently trying to ask someone who is living in tokyo to secure tickets, they can be obtained at Lawson. Still waiting for her reply. So as an alternative if she couldnt get them, any other ways? I heard it can be quite hard if we dont buy them in advance, say a mth before.

I’m going on 27th oct with a friend. Anybody here is currently staying in tokyo?

Really? The last time I went to the Ghibli Museum, I bought tickets right there and then, and that was during the summer months.

You're lucky biggrin.gif

Anyways, I just got confirmation from the Twitter friend who successfully secured the tickets for me. Will meet up and she'll pass to me directly. She's actually someone from AKB fandom laugh.gif Now I just need to get the portable wifi.
Still thinking whether to go DisneySea or Disneyland...

Anyone booked flights with Peach airlines before? I'm trying to book my flight via their website and it keeps coming up error processing my payment. Ask me to change CC or use another payment method which is Peach points (which I don't have). Have tried few CCs and still same error message.

Edit: Nvm, changed browser and all is good. Except the price went up vmad.gif

TDS is like a more 'grown up' version of Disneyland. Rides are slightly more adult, the franchises also the more grow up ones.

Just got back from my trip to Japan last night via Osaka. Enjoyed thoroughly in Tokyo and Osaka. Plenty of walking and legs are killing me. Managed to squeeze in half day trips to Kyoto and Kobe as well.

Will be back as I got unfinished business in USJ and Disney Parks. Harry Potter ride for example I missed out on as the queue was a whopping 220 minutes. Tasted Butterbeer though. The crowd in Japanese them parks are crazy to all 4 parks I've been to i.e. Tokyo Disneysea, Tokyo Disneyland, Fuji-Q Highland and Universal Studios Japan. So, so, so many people. The queue was 75 minutes on the Winnie The Pooh ride for example. Crazy.

Still enjoyed my time there in general. Google Translate app was a lot of help. Will definitely be back, if my health permits.

Did you buy the quick pass? More fast and save time.

By the time I got to the park around 10, the fast passes were finished. And I kind of thought since school started on Monday the week before, there would be less of a crowd. I was dead wrong.

That's the plan! 1 question though, is that the norm with Japanese theme parks?? There is no such thing as a peak and non peak season? Did my research before going and found out that the school semester started on September 1st hence the expectation of a lesser crowd. Or did I get that wrong?
