Guys I did a "panic buying" at AA cheap fare. Ended up flying in & out
Nagoya this
October. A bit regret that now I have to U-turn back to Nagoya to fly back, but there was no other cheap ticket that time. Also, it's not cheap, it's actually free. Pay for the minimal fee/tax only.
October is so damn near, aargh, what am I doing? Not prepared. No research. Not enough money. Backpacking freaking alone.
For now the plan is
- To find youth hostel, or BB, usual backpackers place.
- Not going to buy crazy ass expensive JR Pass.
- Thinking of getting those "daily passes" Kampung posted.
- Also the Willer bus sounds attractive, saving hotel one night!
- I know internet is a pain in the ass in JP, eventhough that's very important for such unplanned travel! To research.
- Not even sure going to Osaka or Tokyo
Info:
- The trip is 9 days long (excluding the 2 flight days)
- Usual tourist spot such as temple or themepark is not main priority since I'm on extremely tight budget (not that interested anyway)
Go and check out places nearby Nagoya and see what interest you.
Transportation isn't cheap in Japan, hence why JR pass is actually worth it if you are taking the shinkansen a lot.
Do some homework before expecting people here to spoonfeed you. Kampung had mentioned about portable internet before if I'm not mistaken, not that expensive and good coverage too. So no pain in the ass there.
