Added known list of service centers in post 1. Huawei doesn't have their own service center yet.

I had review about this in V1.

Comparing with Note3, GPS in-door lockon is slow.

When drive with Waze, it will something lost GPS contact and took a few minute to catch up. But if everything works right, X1 is your best in car GPS and entertainment device. All you need is just a right holder.
When play the Google game INGRESS, also face a few time GPS lost contact.

So my very own conclusion, X1 GPS performance is BAD.

I think this will be the best in car holder for X1 :

bro my unit doesn't have any problem with GPS/Waze
it's a China unit and GPS will lock almost instantly, maybe it's a problem with local units??

the holder looks nice but it's pricey

I tried this tempered glass screen protector, http://www.lelong.com.my/tempered-glass-sc...5-05-Sale-P.htm

It is a disaster which I have already removed and replace with normal screen protector. I wanted to try the other one but when I ask seller, no respond if it is the same as the earlier one with both top and bottom does not stick properly. I have also check with dealer who sell tempered screen protector (in sunway pyramid), they also facing the same problem, both top and bottom does not stick properly. rclxub.gif

Any good soul to confirm whether the ROW Stock ROM, after rooted, can install "AdAway" app? Oh yea, AdAway cannot be downloaded from Google Play. Need to download elsewhere...

Yes you can install AdAway after root. However you need to enable write to /system before you can update the hosts file.

I think this "bag" is highly functional, but may not suit everyone. I saw this in 1Gadget when I bought my X1.

dropped my X1 again in office today, from office table top smacked down on the floor.. feel so sad.. somehow this X1 is prone to slip in my handling.. i think i got no choice but to use a casing with this X1.. i just hate it because it will be too bulky then

Why bother about bulk when you are protecting your device? A soft TPU case will do nicely as it is very thin and should be anti-slip.

I always recommend that all devices should be in casings but people usually don't listen.....

I won't use any phone/tablet without case, at least a soft TPU case is a must for me. smile.gif

It depends on the user actually, some people can use phone for 1-2 years still in mint condition without any scratch or dent, for me I always use minimal ultra slim case, if don't have case I'll use a pouch.

Thanks for your suggestion. However, it does not block ads in games and other apps like GSC movie apps, radio apps, YouTube, etc...
