QUOTE(stevenX @ Jul 6 2014, 08:30 AM) I had review about this in V1. This is actually nice, but personally, I get a bad headache if I need to keep swivelling my head to look at the screen any direction other than straight ahead.Comparing with Note3, GPS in-door lockon is slow. When drive with Waze, it will something lost GPS contact and took a few minute to catch up. But if everything works right, X1 is your best in car GPS and entertainment device. All you need is just a right holder. When play the Google game INGRESS, also face a few time GPS lost contact. So my very own conclusion, X1 GPS performance is BAD. I think this will be the best in car holder for X1 : https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopic=2997030&hl= I did something for my own vehicle, let me find that post and post here |

No problem. Done.BTW, here is a pic of my DIY velcro car mount. I have used it for my Note 2 and Note 3, and now figuring out how to make it usable with the X1. I used velcro on the back of the casing for attachment. ![]() ![]() The original post in Note 2 thread v8, post 2058 This post has been edited by joytest: Jul 6 2014, 12:38 PM |

QUOTE(azeemzuhair @ Jul 6 2014, 02:01 AM) Looks like Huawei internal teams need to improve the chipset. So far, only Snapdragon SoC (800 and above) can lock location INDOOR via data and without WiFi... No need to stand next to window... MTK, Tegra and Intel suffers the same faith as Kirin... But for the price/performance ratio, it's a "MUST"-buy All-in-one-gadget of the year.... Well-well-well....Good news...The INDOOR locking for GPS is "EXCELLENT"!!! You can lock position even in roof-area-busy-with-many-gadgets so long as data OR WiFi is active. Hence, Kirin is as good as Snapdragon when it comes to GPS.... Just tested this device during PC Expo just now... however, the promo is boner killer... LOL... |

QUOTE(tongaz86 @ Jul 6 2014, 09:22 PM) I meant that since it's already showing on vmall, it means that probably the other sellers will also get the stocks as well. Vmall has shown Out of Stock for the X1 as long as I can recall. |
