So,this is a common problem la. When going through those annoying yellow lines or terrible roads(which is many), mine vibrates and the sound is very irritating. Just had my ride for 2 months. Another thing, the passenger seat beside the driver kinda goyang, said the missus. She said when going over speed bumps, she can feel the seat moving. Poor workmanship? was expecting better but will go to SC later to get these rectified.

I sent mine for inspection last week (driver seat though, passenger seat is good). They made a report. The only thing that can be done right now, obviously, is wait. Temporary solution, I have to lift the height-adjuster all the way up when in fact I prefer only half-way up.

The unthinkable happened yesterday. My lion had a breakdown!

I took my car yesterday after 6 weeks in Glenmarie due to cosmetic issues but Turbo Charger was also changed. First Service was also done.

When driving back, I noticed the car jerking as though slowing down fast before accelerating. Was happening frequently.

In the evening, while driving from Pantai Hospital uphill, it was jerking badly and showed fuel too low message followed by engine failure. The car stopped!. Managed to get petrol around 15 litres. Car can start but when put gear to "D", the gear was not engaging and the car started to go in reverse. cannot control the car. But reverse gear works.

ECU showed Engine Failure, Gear Box Failure and Fuel too Low.

Had it towed to Glenmarie. They called me this morning and told me most like High Pressure Fuel Pump.

Dunno when will get my car...hmmmmm very tired alreadylah!

Actually this is not a problem but rather a characteristic of the car. 408t has a sports tuned suspension,which makes it very rigid. Rigid suspensions provide excellent road holding,especially in corners. Virtually hugs the road with well control on body roll. The down side of all this is that rigid suspensions do not absorb shocks and road irregularities all that well. As a result, some of these will be transferred to the chassis,which causes vibrations felt in the cabin.

Your seat problem is probably due to poor assembly. Common in Bolehland workmanship! That can be easily fixed by SC.

Really pity you my friend. It causes a lot of headache. Too high tech and sensitive.

Sometimes.its normal to have problems but I really thinks they have to improve on their diagnosis and rectification skills.

A bit dissapointed. Never had a breakdown wih the previous 2 cars we had for almost 10 years.

We were on the way to mother in laws birthday but plan spoilled. Kena from wife..she told me she will drive her car but i big hero took the car from SC and said will use my car. Hmmmm.
