Just some info..
I just booked agoda few days ago..
Visa or master 5% off but amex 7% off hehe, so the info on first page no longer valid? (That visa/master is better than amex for agoda booking)

Mine is just gold but not platinum smile.gif

just curious, is there any cards other than mb2cards that allow bill payment with rebate benefit? I know wise allows for electricity and water but I need one that covers the range like mb2cards, including unifi, cukai, astro, maxis etc

Is it normal if the cash back amount is lesser than expected? Cause I created a spreadsheet to keep track of the expenses (TreatPoints & Cashback), TreatPoint is accurate but cashback is off when compared against statement rclxub.gif

Nope. So far all are the following categories:
- Groceries
- Online Game Credits / Game Purchases / HumbleBundle / Amazon
- Petrol
- Bills (Maxis via Phone / Payment Counter, TNB via M2U)

Calculating the differences (RM43.2 - RM41.55) is RM1.65 differences (5% cashback); RM1.65/5*100 = RM33. Can't seem to link back to any RM33 transactions that are not eligible for cash back rclxub.gif

EDIT: Nevermind, I cross-checked the statement vs. my list, found out why already. It's the first transaction (RM32.61) rclxub.gif

I placed order at Sat, Jul 19, 2014 at 12:05 AM sharp (based on receipt sent to my email), and seem like M2U recognize it as Friday transaction vmad.gif

ok, i assume all transactions were made with AMEX.

Try to use excel's ROUNDDOWN function, set it 2 decimals.

from ur list, you should get RM43.18 cashback. difference from statement = RM43.19 - RM41.55 = RM1.63.

possibly your 19/7/2014 's transaction (RM1.63 cashback) was missed (dont know for what reasons).

Yup, it's the first transaction that are missed (see my edited post above).

No idea why 12:05AM's transaction is still considered as Friday. Maybe they have a different cut-off period for weekend rclxub.gif

Thanks for the tips on ROUNDDOWN though, previously just did a simple round to two deecimal. After rounding down it's much more accurate tracking now laugh.gif

mind to share what transaction was it? Paypal? online service?

sometimes it depend on the merchant's time too. I remember one lyn member was saying even some local merchant have delays especially midnight transaction.

read from post 260 onwards.

Hi guys, whats the difference between Outstanding and Statement balance?

My current understanding is that Statement balance is my previous period balance
and Outstanding balance is my current period balance which is not yet due AND my previous period balance (which is statement balance)

So shouldn't my Outstanding balance ALWAYS be more than Statement balance assuming that I have not yet paid my previous AND current period balance?

If you have not paid then by right outstanding balance should be more than statement balance. But i think the cashback just credited today. So that may reduce your outstanding balance to be less than your statement balance? if your "current period balance which is not yet due" is less than the cashback.
