go apply the card and mention you would like to pledge for fd

sales person, agent or even some Maybank branch do not know or familiar with the pledge FD option, best you apply online and the card processing department will contact you.

Try not to get tied up with your FD for this.
And if you are maintaining good record with Maybank for certain period of time, you don't even need FD

For FD, bank will only consider if the period is 1 year or more. It is impossible to pledge a 1 month or 6 month FD to apply for credit card. Normal ratio to credit limit is 1:1 max. For your case of 15k pledge, highest chances you will only get gold card.

why do you apply for current account? nowadays ibg much cheaper than cheque lor. many company also start to change to tt payment already.

credit limit have nothing to do with gold card or platinum card..
platinum card also can only have RM8k credit limit

When doing BT, do we need to send them all our other CC statement or does front page is enough.
I don't want them to analyze my spending habit and also there is 3 BT from Maybank to this card. haha...

usually, i just send front page that show the total amount only..
