Lol....I'm not the only one buying. When I first went there, it was out of stock too. Bought it on my second trip, only purchased 6-7 packs. You may want to try other branches.  blush.gif

Better change new ones. Not that expensive especially when buying from Daiso.

i just bought this yesterday and try out.

waxco diy aircon cleaner.

quite effective to clean the dust inside cooling coil.

after spray left for 5mins to dissolve with dust, then turn on aircon for 15mins minimum as per instruction, but i turn on straight 2hours.

the condensation in the cooling coil will cause water droplet bring along the dust and drain out automatically from drain pan.

so it's a real easy diy to use.

after complete, only remember forgotten to clean aircon blower laugh.gif

I'm using a stiff brush, if it doesn't clean well, perhaps it's time to call in Aircon servicing.

I tried the DIY aircond cleaning.. quite good since I have total 9 airconds at home.. I cleaned 7 airconds in two days.. only the indoor units.. total cost was
- RM20 for the spray pump bought at Ace Hardware.
- RM46 for the coil cleaner bought at Ace Hardware. I think this is not a good one though. Not the foaming type. Still have to use brush to clean the coil.
- RM7 for the big plastic to channel water from aircond out to pail. I bought the ones people normally used for covering floor when painting. Bought at hardware shop.

My compressor not so difficult to access, it's just that I could not find a foaming coil cleaner like the ones used by the professionals.. if got that, it would be easy to do.. anybody know where I can buy those?

i just take out the aircon blower, spray with magiclean kitchen cleaner, wait a minute then hose off - super clean. taking the blower fan out and putting back in is a 5 minute job. while its out can also clean the innside unit nicely with damp cloth, brush over the condenser foil if needed, wipe the casing and there you go - good as new. outside cleaning also similar, just spray the fins with a sprayer. i use mainly warm water and add a bit of magiclean kitchen cleaner to and some detergent. creates a nice foam. let it stay (normally i spray the compressors one by one and only once the last one is done i star at the first to hose off. cleans pretty decently also, so i can get 6 outside compressors done in approx. 40 minutes.

1. Remove the directional plastic flaps
2. Fix the brush onto your vacum cleaner and start brushing the blower wheel inside. No messy liquid on the wall/floor

user posted image
You can vacuum the filters with this too without even need to remove them and wash from its slots

Someone told me newest air cond., the blower wheel is removable without unscrew anything but im yet to find any model with that feature.

Hi guys, i'm new to aircon cleaning. Decide to diy.
I live in condo.

Clean the these parts enough? How about the compressor? It hangs outside, so danger to clean.
1) aircon filter mesh
2) the long cylinder shape blower
3) the coil fin
