provide you know what you are doing which generally most don`t. And damage the coil/air cond part..
that`s worst.

And once damage, long run performance drop etc. Blame the manufacturer.  laugh.gif

As long as you follow the cleaning instructions i think should be fine..
watch and learn from youtube videos .

you can buy ready AC cleaner Spray like wd40 AC cleaner , kleenso , etc..
just do regular cleaning every 3 to 6 months ...should be good enough .

If your air cond are in the places other than the kitchen, there should not be any grease in the blower.

Is bed room, then i think its mold, i used a tooth brush to brush it off, but still some stain there, guess I'll leave witht that, cont soak overnight mayb help a bit, even the turbine housing also a lot of dark spots dried up. Could it be essential oil? I regularly use a diffuser with essential oil

You can buy those air cond cleaner solution used by technicians from any hardware shop. You need to mix it with water 1:5 and spray on those areas.

The packing is oredi in plastic but of higher quality. 1:1 is too strong and can damaged the coil.

Normally the solution are sprayed on the parts and let it work for about 5 minutes only. Thereafter used a garden hose to clean thoroughly.

Many technicians dont remove the coil from the plastic housing, so it should be good for short wash.

Anyone knows how to open casing of indoor unit for this york model?
I manage to open the filter cover and air flap but cant take out the casing despite taking off all seen screws, tried unbuckling the top clippers but too tight maybe need open from bottom like pana ac, but i grab from bottom cant pull out or lift the cover off. Washed the indoor ac earlier but i think sprayed water to some open area when cleaning the blower, now dripping water on right side below the power board. Need open casing check n wipe clean.

Looking at the pic, I think you need to remove the flap b4 removing the casing....same as pana models.

The right/left side is connected to a motor that moves the flap up down.
