glad to hear that.. hahah...

mind sharing me what food makes you so obsessed eh?  drool.gif  drool.gif

Basically any sweet stuff like those in the bakery, breads, buns, cakes, tons of sweet drinks (air bandung, sirap, Pearl Milk Tea or anything sweet), chocolates, sweets, ice cream, cendol, desserts. Normal foods would be Sweet Rojak(both Indian and CHinese/Malay style) and all those CHinese/Malay/Indian food, if they're sweet I would enjoy them a lot more drool.gif I used to be hugely addicted with sugar sad.gif I consume sweet things EVERYDAY until one time I was almost diabetic lol. I always tell myself to cut down on sugar but it always fails.

And also quite addicted to carbs, which will be converted to sugar in the end, like rice, noodles, pasta (most of us still can't live without it) laugh.gif

But I've stopped consuming carbs or sweet stuff close to 1 month already since adopting the ketogenic diet. Cravings have dropped significantly though sometimes when I see people eating pasta/ramen I feel a bit sad sad.gif

For a keto diet, instead of using sugar/carbs as an energy source, my body uses fats for my daily activities smile.gif

As reported from most keto dieters, you're usually less hungry compared to a high carb diet.

Ah I see, forgive me then, since I came from a land far far away and am not yet clear with the culture over here. I was wondering why there are many eyes that is looking me very sharply that my body starts to bleed.

I shall now remember this fact now, thank you stranger from distant land. May the Swolly Father bless you with muscles you're content with.

Eating fat doesn't mean it will directly becomes fat nor eating protein will directly makes your muscle bigger. That's where you are wrong and that's due to your simple minded approach of gaining weight.

I'll say that no one here in this section want to gain weight and transform themselves from skinny bone to skinny fat (I guess you do) just so that they'll appear bigger.

It seems that you can see the flaws of your method due to:
1. You are never a hardgainer before, you only lacks money and transportation to go and eat food.
2. You have appetite of normal people. Hardgainer have appetite comparable of a skinny girl. They can't eat much and them knowing the amount they need to eat each day will force them to eat more (emphasis on force).
3. You don't really care on the outcome. Be a skinny fat is far more worse than be a skinny person. Nothing good comes from being a skinny fat. It's like "Out of frying pan into the fire".
4. You don't bother gathering more knowledge because "It works" on you. Yes it does, but not on the others. The calorie counting method is tried and tested by thousands if not millions of hardgainers.
*
haha, ok2. You know me better than myself. You also know all the mentality of a skinny person. I never said that eating fat will directly turn it into fat nor do I say eating protein will directly makes your muscle bigger, but you know me better than I do, so you must be right.

It's okay, I'm not actually here to argue, I only try to answer the others over here. Didn't actually thought that the professionals and professors here would be annoyed with it.

Please people, if you are skinny, count those calories, you'll gain muscle and become fit. If you guys somehow are just eating more without counting the calories, it will all be a waste and turn to feces. Ignore all my comments here because it won't do you no good~

hahah.... dear mubarak90, if i was you i will just stop arguing.. since we have so many disagreements on your suggestion.. they even explained with the facts.. which make sense.. and...

i didnt meant to say what la also, im neutral, but counting the food intake would lead you to a healthier lifestyle this i couldnt agree more.. but we all have our ways to gain weight, which you kept on emphasizing it..

last but not least.. FREEDOM OF SPEECH BABEHH.... no hard feeling kayyy...  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

Depending on which size you're referring to. If the small ones (40-50g), can easily eat 3-4 of them in one session. Like Kit Kat Chunky/Picnic for example (the ones u can find at 7 Eleven/KK Mart)

But cut down so much already, I hope I can stay disciplined when I get back to Msia for good. All those carbs temptations in Msia (99% Msian food revolve around carbs) sweat.gif

I am skinny dude with a high metabolism. Never able to gain weight for the past 30 years.

Last month, I started on my first bulking mission. I fired up myfitness pal app to track my daily calorie intake.

Before mission
Weight : 50.1kg
Height 168cm
Age : 31

14 days mission
Weight : 52.5kg
Gym : 3-4 times / week
Calorie intake per day : Try to hit 2.5k (Most of the time left 100-200 calories)
Supplements : ON Serious Mass at night to top on top what I've eaten the whole day.

Considering that I have gained up to 2.3kg now, I think I am on the right track. Shall update more next week.

Hi, i wanted to ask bout tracking macros. Im using fitnesspal and after setting my profile and goal, it workout a total of 2600 calories that i need to take to maintain my weight. If i wanted to bulk, do i eat more than 2600 calories everyday or only the day during workout? because during the time when we're not working out, we don't burn up so much calories and therefore we might not need to eat that much right?

The 2,600 calories daily intake is the average calculated based on the chosen exercise intensity.
If you'd like to bulk then you gotta add 300-500 calories on top of that and yes all those value is for daily intake.

Aduh, its really hard to swallow in that much food everyday. cry.gif cry.gif

i've been eating about 2900 calories for almost 1 week, and up till today i got really scared of seeing food. My stomach was like a big balloon and i don't feel comfortable doing my daily activites with my stomach so full all the time.

this morning i felt like giving up already because eating was suppose to be enjoyable but it turns out to be missionary now. i become picky with foods just so that it hit my calorie intake. really demotivating

so i was thinking whether i can choose to eat lesser or not tracking my macros during my non-workout day just so that me and my stomach can have a rest.

beginner here need some advice or some motivation from pro sad.gif sad.gif

When I bulk, peanut butter was my best friend. I didnt have to stuff that much food with it. Maybe eat smart, and not eat hard. laugh.gif

You could list down what you have been eating. So that, we can suggest alternative food ?

P/S: Money doesn't fall from the sky, so does muscle. laugh.gif
