Is something like this. Near the radiator place, you notice about 6 of this clips in a row.

My one 1 is broken.

proton should pay me for proving persona stock absorber tht could last for 145k km (or 4 years) limit.  whistling.gif
so first time changing abs since first bought da car..  doh.gif
i saw the top mounting looked quite bad..so i told the mechanic to change them.
1 side was really molested n the other side just nomore dampened:
[attachmentid=4067173]
shakehead.gif
chose proride std abs for first trial..use back stock spring
[attachmentid=4067176]
already pumped them up n tested for 80km on both highway n crappy kampung road with full of lorries.

heres my review on proride std abs compare to wat i remmber when i drove my pe for the first 10 000km :

-rear is lower by 0.5 - 1 finger
-front is da same height as compare to newly bought my car.
-they said its harder 10-20% compare to stock.. i give it 100% true.
-the feel is slightly better than stock in terms of stability of the car. i think coz of 10-20% harder.
-comfort sightly less than stock due to the same cause (as mentioned above)
-cornering no comment.. same i gess.

this is my first abs change so can only compare with stock.. but for now, i think these abs are just worth the price.
i burnt RM545 total... rm350 abs + rm120 1 set top mounting (normal brand) + rm60 labour charge + rm15 alignment.

ill jst use n see how long they can last.. seller, who worked at sapura, told me to use for 60k km max.

fuhhh the black version already hard....can't imagine if i changed to the yellow version.

Do they sell individually or in a pack?

Cos I might only need 1 or maybe 2 for standby. Saw online selling, but no point I buy like 10 or more to keep.

They sell it individually, or at least the shop that I buy it from do.

The bumper clips don't break that easily anyway. I'd suggest buying more if you don't like slowing down for bumps enough to prevent the bumper from scraping the floor just to be slightly faster at the expense of car damage.

I very take care of my car one, very slow when passing the bumps, this round was cause by the Tyre shop staff careless.

I saw it in the CCTV while I make payment, but no point to argue with them for this, later more issue.

I've been driving 3 years, never scratch the bumper by myself at all...!

So good biggrin.gif. The previous owner of my Persona clearly didn't take care of it. The front bumper has slight cracks/tears around some of the clip securing points, and plenty of scratches underneath. I also damaged the bottom of the front bumper about 3 times during the early stage of owning the car, twice due to touching the kerb during parking, and once because I didn't brother braking while going down a short ramp. Now I avoid any form of damage if possible.

Which reminds me of the stupid car respray shop I sent the car to last time. Promised to do what I requested but in the end I got nothing but shitty workmanship, like really shitty. I ended up finding some time to attempt to adjust the front bumper's metal legs myself, which was pretty damn easy to do. grumble.gif

My bumper underneath scratches all by others, so innocent. First time was due to car got weird sound when uneven road. Then the sc people purposely drive to the road full of holes to test the uneven. After next service when jack up the car then I noticed got scratch already.

Btw how you adjust the front bumper metal leg? My one side gap is slightly more then another.

The legs are located around the area below the number plate. It will be easier with the car slightly jacked up. You will see them easily as there will be two screws under there.
