Mine also similar, was caused by the !@#$ tyre shop people drive down careless after change the tyre, then I can see the bumper being pull. when I check on the spot did not notice anything, except the gap slightly bigger.

After a week when open up the bonnet, notice 1 of the plastic clip leg was broken.

Any idea where can get the clip? roughly how much? should be cheap, right?

My one 1 is broken.

There are four metal legs holding the rear bumper. Two behind and two at the sides. Do a pulling + upwards pushing motion for the legs, but beware of bending the legs in such a way where it deforms the area the legs are secured to. it'll look very ugly.

The bumper plastic clips should be less than RM2 each the last time I bought them. grumble.gif Can't find cheap clips anywhere. I've broken my interior trim clips so many times after my many DIY sessions. They're also about RM2 each, or RM3 for "original" Proton clips grumble.gif.

Where you get it? Normal accessory shop or Proton SC?

Spare parts shop. nod.gif
Do they sell individually or in a pack?

Cos I might only need 1 or maybe 2 for standby. Saw online selling, but no point I buy like 10 or more to keep.

They sell it individually, or at least the shop that I buy it from do.

The bumper clips don't break that easily anyway. I'd suggest buying more if you don't like slowing down for bumps enough to prevent the bumper from scraping the floor just to be slightly faster at the expense of car damage.
*
I very take care of my car one, very slow when passing the bumps, this round was cause by the Tyre shop staff careless.

I saw it in the CCTV while I make payment, but no point to argue with them for this, later more issue.

I've been driving 3 years, never scratch the bumper by myself at all...!

So good biggrin.gif. The previous owner of my Persona clearly didn't take care of it. The front bumper has slight cracks/tears around some of the clip securing points, and plenty of scratches underneath. I also damaged the bottom of the front bumper about 3 times during the early stage of owning the car, twice due to touching the kerb during parking, and once because I didn't brother braking while going down a short ramp. Now I avoid any form of damage if possible.

Which reminds me of the stupid car respray shop I sent the car to last time. Promised to do what I requested but in the end I got nothing but shitty workmanship, like really shitty. I ended up finding some time to attempt to adjust the front bumper's metal legs myself, which was pretty damn easy to do. grumble.gif
*
My bumper underneath scratches all by others, so innocent. First time was due to car got weird sound when uneven road. Then the sc people purposely drive to the road full of holes to test the uneven. After next service when jack up the car then I noticed got scratch already.

Btw how you adjust the front bumper metal leg? My one side gap is slightly more then another.

The legs are located around the area below the number plate. It will be easier with the car slightly jacked up. You will see them easily as there will be two screws under there.
*
Alright, thanks for the info bro. notworthy.gif

Will check on it tomorrow!

Yes,even when they service the aircon compressor, they will remove the 6 black thingy..and later wont put back.
U cannot argue with them..they will just say break edi..

That's why I never mod exterior, coz these serviceman don't give a dam about your car.

I got mine from the paint shop at sprint highway, dunno they will sell to u anot, coz u buy that only..lol
they sold to me as I went for minor knocking  and minor spray oso.
*
Damn. After check on buttom only notice another clip missing.

Wonder should go buy myself now or wait until next service buy direct from Proton SC.

Ya. Of course not everyone also like that. Is about the staff attitude. Even authorized SC also some will have this type of rubbish.

Those responsible people will take care customer car carefully.

Just now days quite hard to find. Especially see those young staff like lala type..or gangster..

Bro, your RM3 original proton clips is that from Proton SC?

I get the price from Malacca Car Accessory shop selling RM5 each! Initial price they say RM7, after negotiate only get RM5.

If Proton selling cheaper than this price, might as well I drop by Proton & buy.

If your battery still strong no problem. No worry, I left about 10 days still fine.

When battery weak the time, 2 days cannot start already.

Anyone here replace the gasket? is there recommended to replace currently about 70K, seems oil leak around the head gasket. In fact, nothing new, been notice even before end of warranty, just the SC said was not covered, so just leave it until now.

Recently service, the technician show me and ask to replace or not?
Top Gasket was cheap about RM80, bottom part also sign of leak, again not serious until engine oil drop on the floor. Bottom one about RM120, and need almost half day to do it.

Should go for it? If just leave it any harm? My observation was, the little oil make the dust stick on it, so look dirty only.

Mine also have minor leakage on the top and bottom.
But i add 1 STP engine stop leak to the lubricant there. Now no more leakage.
If your leakage is very serious recommend fix it asap.
*
Not serious, just can see the dust accumulate there. Not really notice the oil.

Was 3rd year + now, mileage 70K, still about the same. If not really harm, just drag, maybe can last few more years.

When google up, can see few blog, they DIY change the Gasket and glue back themselves.

Btw, for those after 60K, please counter check your Engine Belt (Not Timing Belt) for Water Pump, Air Con & etc. Mine notice some crack, and already change it.

Mine also same since 45k. near 70K also. Mechanic mentioned a lot of proton also got same problem. Just leave it unless it get worse.
*
Ya, the Mechanic told me the same, almost all Campro having this problem, and they did a lot already.

For me is wonder should spend this money and time or not? hmm.gif

I would say not serious, as see the dust. If can see the oil stain leak out, then I guess no choice and have to replace already.

That's why ask here is better, as can get lot of the PE owner feedback.

Mine just reached 50k ytd. Edy have minor leak. Lucky notice early and solve it.
If leak again really need to change gasket or re-glue it.

top shud be able to do it by ourself. Botton 1 is hard. Unless u r mechanic.
*
Both also I didn't plan to DIY. Don't want take any risk, as I'm not expert in this area.

Ya, bottom they told me need to dismantle a lot of part, and even glue it back also have to double check make sure everything was in order, and no leak.

For me there is another risk of getting worse!

If really worry, then wipe clean and keep jalan for another 5 to 10K, see how bad is the leak. If still same, only dry dust, not wet with no detectable reduction in engine oil, I'll just leave it.

Ok. Thx bro!

not almost all, it's all car bearing the plotong badge will have this problem. actually this problem were faced by any car, but since is plotong badge, it's VERY NORMAL, eventhough u r uncle driving style driver.
*
Ehm...ya, I hardly press the pedal also got this problem.

It should be normal for car after some age, just for age of 3 is too young to have it.

My Wira I drive almost 10years + only change the top gasket once.

Raining season, notice my wiper during first step 'intermediate' sometimes is not working. Means when switch on, wiper no move at all. Either I off & on again or direct push to 2nd step, then the wiper work as normal.

May I know, which part having problem?
