QUOTE(Joe Kreutz @ Dec 16 2014, 11:30 AM) hi guys, Hi Bro,can i ask some noob questions?? i want to install internet service in my home and right now im in between unifi and time, although in my situation now, time seems to offer more value to me. here are the questions: 1) whats the difference between "voice" and "internet" plan? are these 2 plans together i.e. if i want to subscribe to "internet" i will get "voice" plan too? 2) how long is the contract for "internet" plan? 3) does this service available at seksyen 22 shah alam? many thanks Thanks for your interest in Time Fibre.. Please refer the following for answers to your questions 1) For Time FTTH (home fibre broadband service), it actually bundled with a Voice Line with 2 options to choose. > pay per use basis @ 9 cents/min for all domestic calls. > 10 plan (RM10/month with 1 year contract),given 2000mins of Free Calls. 2) Internet plan subject to either 1 or 2 years contract. > 1 year contract subject to RM249 Installation Fee. > 2 years contract RM249 Installation Fee will be waived. > 100Mbps package is subject to a 2-Year contract. 3) In sorry as Seksyen 22 is yet in coverage. Feel free to pm your building name for further checking. Thanks. |

QUOTE(vankodoq @ Dec 17 2014, 12:20 PM) I'm currently a customer of TIME's 100Mbps plan (with the 100GB quota). If I plan to move out to another apartment building, can I simply continue the plan or do I have to cancel my subscription altogether and start a new one in my new apartment building? Hi Bro,You may request for service relocation & just continue your contract. please let us know your new address to check on the coverage. For your case, Outdoor Relocation fee of RM120 will be charged into your bill. Thanks. |

Hi Bro,
To activate the Free Boost...just go to http://selfcare.time.net.my Click on Boost Manager, select how many hours to Boost, click Boost. For example you select 2 hours to boost, but you can't stop it on the half way & continue back later. Feel free to pm me should you require further assistance. Thanks. |

QUOTE(PingC @ Dec 19 2014, 06:52 PM) Planning to install internet at my new condo which only TIME has coverage. Can check whether the intallation requires any hacking/drilling in the house? Hi Bro,We are Time's pioneer Service Installer. Basically there is no hacking involved, unless under special cases. Minor drilling of a small hole maybe needed in order to bring in the fibre care, patching will done after Installation is completed. If drilling is a big concern, we can advise you a way to bring in the fibre cable. Feel free to PM/call me should you require any further advise. Thanks. Cheers |

QUOTE(eternalwee @ Dec 20 2014, 06:37 PM) Hi, I'm interested in Time fibre. Is pj centrestage resident building available for this isp service? Hi Bro,I also noticed that quite a lot of ppl complaining that the e1200 is buggy, any other router recommended? Thanks in advance Yes your building is ready for service. Our network team had notified Time product team since last year & they are working on this issue.. After all this router is obsolete & no more supported by manufacturer. Bro, there are plenty of replacement models that work extremely well with Time Fibre. Feel free to PM me your budget & I'll source you a few models. Thanks. |

QUOTE(McWes @ Dec 21 2014, 02:33 PM) I would like to ask Time broadband is really like other telco broadband? insert sim card in usb broadband? or thru Lan Cable also? Hi Bro,Time is not a mobile wireless broadband provider. They are fixed physical line provider which powered by 100% full fibre all the way into your premise. You will be provided with a Wireless Router which enables you to use both Lan & Wireless connection within your premise. Thanks. |

QUOTE(Shadow_Hanzo @ Dec 22 2014, 07:22 AM) Hey guys, I'm very interested in this Time Fibre 100mbps package which is RM179 per month. I called up the customer support and get to know that, this package come with a 100gb quota and when it hit, the connection speed will be capped at 10mbps, sounds promising as 10mbps speed is not too bad compare to unifi some times can drop to the point where online is pointless and better just go out and get your life back. Hi Bro,Anyway, I'm still wondering whether is this true? Anyone of you guys tried it to the Max before with the 100mbps package? Yes it's true, for the 100Mbps package, starting from 1 Dec 2014, the speed will be throttled down to 10Mbps when the 100GB Quota is met. ![]() Feel free to pm me your building to verify on coverage. Thanks. |
