My torrent speeds seem to be fine, but I don't use Popcorn... so maybe it's more dependent on the trackers (and peers) you use.

Any good recommendation on a replacement router? I'm still using the stock, and while it works fine, I could definitely use something with better range.

Hi, TIME Fibre Home Broadband speed is very fast and stable. The Wi-Fi Router provided by TIME is not good enough. I have to restart to get high speed. The speed over Wi-Fi is worse than LAN
We are using ZTE H298N Wi-Fi Router.
When we activate the boost as the boost didn't reach above 50Mbps. It only reach about speed 20 -30, 30 - 45Mbps
Any good recommendation for replacing existing Wi-Fi Router provided by TIME.
Which Wi-Fi router is recommended?
Asus RT-N18U or TP-Link Archer C9?
I'm currently using 10Mbps Line. Now free 100Mbps is nice but torrent and download is very slow.
Surfing Google is stable. Youtube can play without buffering.
I fully support TIME DotCom.

Only one cons - Wi-Fi Router.
Wi-Fi Router is not good enough. Must restart after activate 50Mbps boost. To get full speed.
After one year using ZTE H298N Wi-Fi Router might consider changing router to Wireless AC router or High speed Wireless N router.

Bro, I kaypoh share my thoughts ya. Am currently on 50Mb plan @ RM249. If I analyse the current prices, I see a possible pattern.

10Mb = 129

20Mb = 129 + 50 ~ 179

30Mb = 179 + 40 ~ 219

50Mb = 219 + 30 ~ 249

100Mb = 249 + 20 ~ 269 (maybe?)

New on this thread. I used to be on Maxis fibrenet. Never had any problems with either connectivity or speed. Consistently over 20Mbps & never below 10Mbps. Since moving to my new condo a month ago, I had to convert to Time dotcom which I absolutely hate. Connectivity after 1am is sometimes zero. If there is connectivity, my top speed is 0.1Mbps. Even loading the speed test takes 10 minutes or more.

Is it the ZTE router which is causing the problem? Hope to change it to something better or do something with the existing router but don't know how. Can I actually change the DNS? How do I go about doing it?

I am really having problems now  . Bought a new router today (DLink) and tried to replace the ZTE as supplied by Time but to no avail. One, once I plug the cable to it, there is no internet connection to the new router. How am I gonna configure it without an internet connection? So I tried using the ZTE and connecting my DLink to it via LAN. Yep, now I have internet connection. So I tried configuring it. Typed in the PPPOE and had it configured. Great.  Removed the plug from my ZTE and reconnected it to the DLink.

Still no internet connection 

What should I do????

coz I'm quite worry about it, when the Time installer came they just use back the fiber cable with blue connector that left by my previous Unifi installation. hmm just realised the astro iptv package is 156 for 10mbps, as compared to the 100mbps package from time itself is 100mbps ... what a rip off ...
