95k slight over my acceptable  price range for fluence. With that price, may consider Mazda 3

Hi guys, those who bought fluence during the promo period, have u really checked & ensure your car is indeed 2016 car as advertised?

I just bought mine a week ago (pre facelift) & after i took delivery i seriously doubt that it is 2016 car.

But .. realistically, you are looking at a long and expensive fight unless you can represent yourself.. lawyers charge for everything they do, even a standard letter [photocopied and not the sit-down-and-think-what-to-write-one]
So in the end.. Lawyers can upkeep their Bimmers[or whatever they drive..]

Honestly, my friend, almost (99%) all Fluence on sales now are NOT assembled 2016! Just Renault sales office can't tell you, it is their trade secret! (I got this whispered to my ears by.....)

However, they are kind enough to "circumvent" something in that in order to be able to have "2016" stated in our car grant! That's the minimal we can get, rather than actual 2014!

When I inspect my Expression model (so-called POST-FL model), I even see minor (5 cents coin) rust mark surrounding a sticker label, I immediately questioned it! (That's how I get the story telling of it is NOT 2016 assembled car!)

You will hear many new owners telling you the remote key card has the battery flat with a few months of usage, that's another tell tale sign for you it is not a "recently" assembled car. Enough said.

excluding insurance and is subject to the following terms and conditions:
a. It is only available in Peninsular Malaysia (except for Langkawi) for individual registrations

Point 3c, base on year make 2016....

So, it goes back to the definition of Year Make.

I have driven my Expression version for 5 days already, someone described it as "a giant sofa which can do high speed in highway"! Haha...

I did a KL-Ipoh-Taiping-KL trip last 2 days, achieved consumption of 7.5L/100km, not bad! Nice and comfortable auto cruising almost all the way!

just wanna ask for the  Aircon Recirculation function, i notice it will off once i push the Auto/Soft button and need to

manually push the Aircon Recirculation button to activate it..does this normal?..if not turn on even durian smell also masuk dalam kereta  ...

and how do you guys turn on the aircond?..push the A/C button or Auto&Soft?..i only can turn on the aircond by pushing the Auto/Soft button..

still trying to understand how is the actual way to turn on the aircond and Aircon Recirculation on this Fluence..

Just called a SA base in puchong, he said the car should be produce in 2016 as per T&C. To those buyers who are affected, if no response from TCEC might want to post on their FB, sure they will feedback very quick like what happened to VW.

Aaron, I just found out the 4 ContiPremiumContact 2 tyres used on my "brand" new Fluence is manufactured in late 2013! All labelled with 4013, 4013, 4113 and 4213!

3 years old tyre, mmmm, safety or integrity of the tyre..... mmm... mmm...

I couldn't locate that door panel sticker, but my tyres are 17/14.

I PMed their FB account on last Friday on the year make inquiry but no reply, unlike 2 weeks back I asked about the promotion they reply within 1 day. Maybe they are busy with the launched of Koleos.
