QUOTE(Ginny88 @ Sep 3 2016, 08:29 PM) If they assembled it recently why are the tyres 2014/2013? How to explain this? hmm... they bought the CKD kits and tyres at the same time... at only completed assembling of the vehicles in 2016... (my assumption, might be wrong) are they wrong legally in this case?

QUOTE(Jeff_lwh @ Sep 8 2016, 11:01 AM) For those who worried about High spare part and maintenance cost after 5 years. Rest assured Renault Fluence is also known as Samsung SM3. It's a Korean car with Japanese Engine and gearbox and French Suspension system. So spare parts costs should cost the same as Hyundai. Cause I made a mistake by test driven the Megane RS and Fluence back to back. The Ride and handling difference were MILES Apart. See my review: Otoreview Fluence Reviewhaha... yea.... hence why i emphasize the parts will not be expensive like a typical french car... this Fluence is a hybrid of everything country lolz... and of course cant compare to Megane RS (although from similar platform)... but one is driver's car one is giant sofa car... lol.....

QUOTE(twtang @ Sep 19 2016, 07:21 PM) i got a weird scenario just now. I reached home, reverse and turn from R to N, then pull hand brake, then push to P, then off air cond, then push off button. my son was playing outside and told me he could still hear sound from the engine bay, and I checked, yes, something still running although everything is off, but inside car nothing is running, and car was already auto locked too. its normal for conti car... engine stopped already... oni the ventilation fan is still running... to help cool down ur engine even after stop moving... very common... i did asked this question in fb before... haha...

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 21 2016, 11:34 AM) Post#711 did I understand it wrongly? Did he say 93k is after minus out the 20 years trade in car? i believe is minus out the 20 years car... 10k still acceptable if its a japanese C-segment after 20 years.... quite impossible for FLuence dynamique to sell at 93k.... thats a minus of around 40k from the retail pricing... if really sub 100k for full spec... i will encourage everyone to buy this car... C-segment with a B-segment price... and its the facelifted one haha.... This post has been edited by aaron1717: Sep 21 2016, 04:12 PM

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 21 2016, 05:41 PM) Seriously, do you guys think this car is really good? I am not sure whether should I take it or not. There are still other d segment in the range below 100k right? Retail price for dynamique is 119k. haha... u asking in the wrong section... mostly we are here bcuz we are the owners hu owned it... somehow we will have bias view on the answers u need... which D-segment selling at below 100k? if u say C-segment selling below 100k... oni the koreans have it... but its 1.6 and you dont have such after sales package... the other contis C-segment selling below 100k u might wanna reconsider especially cars like peugeot or VW.... give us your comparison and we try to compare it out for u...

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 21 2016, 06:47 PM) Haha, yeah understand. Btw, what is with giant sofa? Referring the car seat? Somehow I find that the rear passage seat is not so spacious its not that spacious... its more refer to the suspension of the Fluence... Fluence is from a megane platform which itself is spirited car with driver emphasize suspension... once you go on a Fluence... the engine is Japanese based... the suspension also tuned softer hence the term of a giant sofa which can travel effortlessly...

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 22 2016, 10:07 AM) Sorry typo, not d. Should be c segment. Actually I comparing Mazda 3 and this one. Slightly above 100k follow your heart bro.... mazda 3 is definitely a very good car... everything in it is new... but for sure their cars are not design for ferrying passanger given their tight seats and hard suspension... my fren who sit in a mazda 3 and in a Fluence... she told me mazda 3 definitely not for human seat one... lol.... what are the points most important to you when u choosing a car.... space? performance? handling? pricing? safety features?

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 22 2016, 11:01 AM) We got a new member in the family, that's why thinking of getting a new car. Wanted a suv forester but slightly exceed out budget. So down to sedan below 100k. Was considering vios and city, should be reliable and have good rv. Suddenly came the news of 79888 c segment. Placed booking but dragged a while due to loan application issue, now only left only dynamique, will be closed to 100k. With that price, I still can consider Mazda3. Looking for space and safety because of small baby and hopefully not too bad on rv. Maybe will upgrade to suv in 3yesrs time. then if thats the plan for u...i suggest u to go for basic mazda 3... or just stick with City... frankly speaking if u gonna chg car in 3 years... then u should stick back to your budget... instead of stretching it... make sure ur loan can be set off with the trade in of your current car in three years time... thats my general opinion anyhow... C-segment no matter which brand anyhow not good in resale value given that nowadays SUV and crossover like HRV are the main stream now...

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 22 2016, 08:44 PM) Just got informed, since expression sold out already, they offer dynamique for 91888 without insurance. But no leather, only fabric. What do you think? The offer only for whom pay booking earlier . hmmm... if me I will take the deal... But I will drive the car for quite long time... at least for 5 years -10 years... depends on my family needs... frankly speaking... the leather seat is very hard... the fabric sit is softer and more comfortable... i tried both seat before... I think the leather one is uncomfortable for me.. add on insurance 93k-94k... i would say its a very good deal for a top spec car... u bought a C-segment 2.0 for the price of mazda 2.... but if u going to sell it after 3 years... i will tell u conti cars and C-segments generally have super sucks RV....

QUOTE(henrytan5001 @ Sep 23 2016, 01:04 PM) Yeah! Quite a good deal, that's why I can't make up my mind now. Opt for leather by topping up another 1.5k. hahaha... totally understand your dilemma... actually i was also in the same dilemma as you... the mazda 3 GL or this car.... but i think i am not a car person anyhow... looking for the best space per value between this two... Fluence stand out for me... and the 5 years free service attracted me.... haha...
