haha... i like the chaffeur services, free service and the replacement car... the car itself is almost perfect already as a A to B car... so nothing much i can ask for... cosmetic stuffs... very subjective... some ppl hate the new civic also... haha....

somehow... u do understand that guys who go for toyota or honda C-segment... are the typical traditional mindset kind of buyer... especially the altis buyers... so it really make me lost interest in telling them the shocking facts and they sure can't accept it even after I told them... being that a kosong 1.8 altis also you can buy it... and expect good RV... just too naive... C-segment just too competitive nowadays... and the altis are not really well accepted by the buyers also... and its just a dangerous car to be in without all the necessary safety features... stubborn traditional minded....

for the pre-facelift... according to them.. its not an easy straight installation... they will have to take it back to the factory to do it... and there are some difference on the size of headlamp... in the post face lift one...

we understand the reputation they have... but u see toyota sales now... it shown that the new generations had started to take over... I am quite gladful that toyota hardcore fans have reduced... and hopefully continue so until they able to sell a car that is justifiable to the price... altis 2.0 full spec 130k-140k.. oh god...

On the Altis - yes it is expensive and UMW is paying for it in less sales - as compared to other more safety-orientated models.. - I guess the 'marketing dept' still think safety is a premium n to charge for it..  its not only Toyota but P2 [other than the Bezza n even then only top of the line.. ] seems to market it that way..
I guess there are 2 ways for em to change their thinking :
1. On their own - doubtful as profits still reign supreme - whatever you wanna say ; if it affects too much at the bottom line ; it will never come to pass
2. Legislation - our government must step in n say it is so - make them put this in - even to the extent as to give them certain tax incentives ..

maybe u can wait for year end discount.... by then maybe they able to discount the pricing til that extent.... for now... their focus would be clearing the Pre-FL one.... less focus on the new models i think....
