Significant improvement after install the buffer? Comfort? Handling?
How much you pay for it?
*
Is rm180 per set/pair. Total rm380. My mistake to not take note the before and after comfort and handling. So not really sure felt much difference blush.gif blush.gif

Owned the car for 10 months now, prefacelift version.
Problems so far :
1. Break pedal squeak sound during pedal depressed/released..so far ok n under monitoring after 2nd fix...
2. Air con compressor noise when compressor is turned on. Only last for 1-2 sec then noise will gone. Will ask them to check in 2nd service.
3. Short weird whistling noise(last for ~3 secs) from engine bay after 1-2 hours highway drive under hot weather (32 celcius or above), normally happened when leaving toll (slow down to below 20 km/h and start acceleration again). Already lodge report.
4. Very faint squeaking noise from rear left passenger seat when someone take that seat and car cruising on bumpy road.

Any one face similar issue?
*
Compare to other C segment cars... this is consider lesser problem.... especially against the other conti cars when you look at their forum.... like everyday need maintenance haha.....

Thanks for sharing! By the way mind to share the source of this manual? Just want to know whether the source is reliable. smile.gif
I not sure how's the KL map, but the map in Penang seems to be outdated even with the latest map when I got the car.

P/S: Just finished reading the manual. At the last line: "2.Update of maps is free of charge within first 60 days of new vehicle delivery. Beyond the allocated time frame, updates become paid. "

I also had occasional radiator fan turn on after engine switch off. But I think it is normal to bring down engine temperature. I normally have this after stuck in stop-go traffic under hot sun, or highway drive.
The remote battery I also changed once already. After change, you need to reset by stand close to the car, press any button on remote continuously 4 times (I pressed the open door button), then the low bat message on your dashboard display will be gone.

Good tip, thanks...

Hi,

Tomorrow, have an appointment in PG... So, today mark the first time my Fluence took the longest ride out, 5 hours to be exact.

Overall, I am very satisfied with the low noise level, comfort seat, great aircond, smooth engine gearbox, cruise control, best of all the sound system and RDS, you never need to search for the radio frequency anymore.

Also, the TomTom GPS, remind me to stop and rest after several hours continuos driving... Cool.

Haha even in KV, I hardly catch another fluence. Anyway just wanted to know how's the fuel economy after certain mileage? Mine still under 5k but just recently had first service. Aside from the fc, I'm very happy with the car.

After the PG trip, the fc reduced further to 11.6l/100km... With the mileage still below 4k, I assume this will go down even further in due time, if I made more long distance trips.

usually the fc will get lower during long distance trips, mine dropped until 10.6 before, but that is only applicable for full highway drive with the whole fuel tank, once involved city drive, the FC bcum 11 and above..... haha.... overall.... a bit too comfortable.... doesnt feel like the car is moving.... might fall asleep... the engine sound soooo quiet..... tongue.gif tongue.gif

Yes, with full highway drive, I got down to same fc as yours. You're right about no being aware of how fast you're driving. That's why I set speed limit alert. Bit annoying but good reminder from time to time to check if got speed traps around or not rather to slow down tongue.gif

my concern is reynault reliability, however the car.package.seem very value for money

how is the after sales?
the sparepart difficult to obtain? (need to wait long time to order?)
maintenance expensive?
can we bring the car to nissan sc for service? will it void the warranty?

sorry for the many question.

Technically, it's a Nissan. Hardware is 100% Nissan. Only electronics are from Renault.
